Security? No. Privacy? Of course (assuming you don’t use vanilla FF). Is it much easier to escape the sandbox in Gecko than Chromium. Doesn’t matter what options they give you in the settings titled “Security”.
Device doesn’t matter, the app sucks. It doesn’t even have volume normalization. You just get hit with a sound blast out of nowhere because you had to turn it up to hear the previous song.
Apple music on android is so bad that I didn’t even wait for my premium trial to end to cancel.
Although maybe your point is just that we need to stop pretending there are any good guy players in this bullshit game, in which case, i agree.
That was my point, yes.
Mozilla is a sketchy company that pays their CEO as much as they get in yearly donations then act like they’re the good underdog guys that survive off of those donations.
They have giant cash reserves that they refuse to use to make Gecko safer. They pay several senior engineers salaries’ worth of money to political organisations instead.
They’re just not as successful as Google at being trash.
I don’t understand the pressure to let Sweden in.
I don’t see why a nation would willingly go into a defense pact with another nation that actively funds a terrorist organisation.
Especially when in case of a war, until the US decides to go all in and end it, Europe’s defense is up to Turkey and the UK. Why would they be willing to die for the Swedes?
They don’t care.
Most apps choose to distribute through Play Store only though. If the devs aren’t officially distributing on a separate platform or provide signing keys for you to verify the signature of the APK you get from elsewhere, you’re just asking for malware by downloading it anywhere else.
The whole post is so dumb (especially this one) I cringed while reading it.
He’s talking about a feature, admits its good, and then says most people won’t use it much. How is other people using a feature a considering when buying a product?
