    TV’s have been spotted connecting to open networks on their own. They could easily look for alternative routes.

                  No, there is no proof of it happening and it’s extremely likely to be coincidences or even made up. It’s the internet after all.

                    The Cox active listening website was just observation and dismissed until an article was written about that too.
