Most anglophones are awful people.
Most anglophones are awful people.
Sadly, you are speaking for a great many places. I’ve cycled in most of the countries I’ve visited and it can be relatively dangerous.
If people want to see how to integrate a public transport network with a cycle path network, places like Netherlands and Denmark are leading the way.
Over here in the UK we have one of the most regressive attitudes to sustainable transport in Europe. Our trains don’t work and cycling is barely tolerated.
It didn’t sound like that to me. Americans meddling in other countries is par for the course.
Former colonial powers are accused of doing colonial stuff again. Obviously China is the bad guy for attempting to prevent this violation.
‘Lone wolf’ like the time Assange embarrassed the Americans with evidence of their crimes and a rape victim magically appears only to disappear again seven years later. The Americans are the real global terrorist organisation.
I would imagine most of these remote interviews are just an initial conversation and an employer would insist on a formal interview in person if they have a policy on physical presence. My policy is to advance the requirement that there be hot chicks in the office if I need to be in that space.
Oh sbit
Carrying a huge rucksack which makes an odd ticking noise.
I would imagine it’s very difficult to make a universal architecture but if I have learnt anything about computers it’s that the manufacturers of software and hardware deliberately created opaque and monolithic systems, e.g. phones. They cynically insert barriers to their reuse and redeployment. There’s no profit motive for corporations to make infintitely scalable computers. Short sighted greed is a much more plausible explanation.
Naked Lunch by Christopher Burroughs
The Trial by Franz Kafka. Anything by Kafka is pretty mental.
The EU is one of the few institutions that are fighting the American corporations on our most basic freedoms. It’s the only one with real teeth.
It’s kind of lame that they need to junk the entire apparatus after only a decade. I get that processor technology moves on apace but we already know it does that so why doesn’t a universal architecture exist where nodes can be added at will?
The EU has found the cure for cancer
So that’s no then? Stimulants are well understood to improve focus and reduce fatigue. It seems like you’re focusing on the wrong thing here. We want people to be good and safe drivers but how they do that is completely immaterial.
It seems that you are making a case against drug use before you understand pharmacokinetics.
I don’t think it’s confined to just Asia. Construction is a difficult job that requires stamina, strength and mental focus. An ideal application for stimulants.
Cars do be pretty heavy tho
People should either stop taking their medication or quit driving so you can live in your drug-free fantasy world, is that what you’re saying?
Some substances help with tasks such as operating machinery for extended periods e.g. stimulants in the amphetamine class of drugs, methamphetamine, dexamphetamine, etc. Cocaine is probably also helpful.
The U.S. Air Force uses dextroamphetamine as one of its “go pills”, given to pilots on long missions to help them remain focused and alert.
As engineers, we should never insert proprietary interfaces into our designs. We shouldn’t obfuscate the design.
The motivation for these toxic practices comes from the business side because it’s profitable. These people won’t share the profits with you because they are psychopaths. Ultimately we are making more waste when electronics cannot be upgraded, maintained and repaired. It’s bad for people and it’s bad for the environment.
We spend more in healthcare in our last year of life than we do in our the rest of our lives combined.
Why are we spending a fortune proping up these old wrecks when their quality of life is already shit?
It’s the topic nobody wants to talk about. We want to live in the fantasy land where we can keep going forever.
