If you’re looking for XCOM 40k, check out Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters. It unabashedly mimics XCOM and throws in the spaceship management from Battletech. I would say it’s not quite as good as XCOM 2, but it’s still pretty good. Bonus points if you’re into 40k.

Silicon dioxide is a common anti-caking agent. It’s used in many foods and is generally harmless when ingested. Inhaling it can be a problem, but that’s more of a concern on the production end, not for the consumer.

Yup. As I recall it was kind of a school-wide effort, with kids relaying solutions of various puzzles to each other until we had enough to complete the game. I do recall working out the Babelfish puzzle on my own, though I also neglected to feed the dog at the beginning of the game soft-locking myself on at least one playthrough.
I bought several Infocom games in their day, I think HHGTTG was the only one I ever finished.
