I agree, however they also don’t allow sideloading as far as I know. I think there’s a distinction between policing whats on your store, and what users can install from anywhere.
In a lot of places the internet is there, but realistically the public transport never will be. It would cost so much to provide a service in every rural area that 3 people use that its totally infeasible. I think this is the situation where cars make sense, for people where public transport isn’t a realistic option.
.ie is another one, you can’t get them from a lot of registrars and have to prove you’re genuinely based in Ireland.
I mean, I did ask for a wild guess.
You’d get a mug of builders tea.
Take a wild guess where.
I have a dell laptop. Barrel charging port, but the USB-C port will charge it too… Just very slowly with a 33W phone charger instead of the 130W laptop charger.
That’s the niche I think Rust is trying to fill, it’s both low level, and provides the tools to be memory safe whenever you don’t need unsafe code.
Rather annoyingly NI (where I’m from) didn’t vote to leave, but its affecting us the worst (and sort of best) by far. A lot of Unionists won’t accept being treated differently to the rest of the UK, and won’t accept any kind of even theoretical border in thr Irish sea.
However we cannot have a border at all across Ireland. Funny enough the solution was an area of free movement, trade, and common laws.
Much like the EU.
A random thing I got stable diffusion to generate when I was messing about with it. I think the prompt was steampunk garden or smth.
Oh I’m not particularly informed on any of this because I don’t really care tbh, but I though race was where you (and your ancestors) are from as opposed to skin colour?
No, that’s why I said general. For example people from Europe tend to have lighter skin, Scandinavian people tend to have lighter hair, African people tend to have coarser hair.
I mean there are general genetic differences due to where people are from. Is that not what a race is?
I absolutely am, but they must have been named after regular mice, so idk what way it was originally envisaged.
I’m almost certain I read that at least for kbin, upvotes don’t mean much, but boosts are what determine comment order and make posts go up ranks.
The way I use it is to help an important/helpful post/comment reach the top of the frontpage/comment thread as I think other people should see it.
I use it differently to upvoting.
I’ll upvote something that’s funny, relevant, or just what I want to be seeing. It’s hard to put into words.
I’ll boost something important, or that I think other people should see, such as that an important person has died, or a useful comment.
Would you not have to get a proper switch installed? We have a diesel generator in our house (countryside, unreliable power) and we had to get a big isolater switch, so when the switch is set to generator, nothing can go back into the grid.
I don’t know but I’ve always thought this sort of place should have 4 buttons for a post. Relevant Irrelevant, I like, I do not like. This way people could disagree with something, but show that they think it is a good fit for the magazine.
I’ve a wee 2016 1.2tsi manual skoda fabia. I really like it, think the dashboards layed out perfectly, everything intuitive to use, the AC is simple to adjust, its reasonably efficient, and is the right size for me.
I’d prefer insurance companies to stop taking the piss with the prices, I’ve never hit anything or got any points, its literally just because I’m a young man. I’d also prefer there to be a little more space between the clutch and side wall in the footwell as I have wide feet and its easy to clip the clutch when putting my left foot on the foot rest.
