5 days agoI’m more annoyed with the shrinkflation of increasing the aeration and how almost every brand shrunk their standard size from 1.75qt to 1.5qt (1656mL to 1420mL)
Umpqua was the last holdout in my area before they caved.

The current tech doesn’t really factor in road conditions AFAIK. Which is a pretty big factor that dictates how brakes should be applied to stop safely.
One example is, if you’re driving along an area with a soft or no shoulder during rain or snow, stopping suddenly could easily make the car slide off the road and end up upside-down or down a cliff. There unfortunately are times where hitting someone/something is unavoidable, along with being the safest option and the decision making capability isn’t fully there yet.
The first time I heard this story, I immediately thought of what this guy did. I think it would’ve been an awesome addon if it was just cursing, and not doing racial slurs or spying.
2·1 month agoThat’s just the explanation of eukarya which lists animalia within the same super-group as fungi and plants being in a different one altogether. Any relationship with plants to humans (which are within animalia) or mushrooms could be a bit subjective.
Yes, fungi are closer to humans than plants. If you look at the reproductive cycle of all three though, plants have a closer amount of “sexes” to humans. Plants generally having “1” or 2 sexes; humans having 2. Fungi though…

You do realize that we already know the only reason you have them on your remotes is to charge the streaming services a licensing fee for the advertisement. You couldn’t care less about grandma.

The scenario I mentioned would have the buttons simply labeled with a number/letter. 95% of the time I don’t even look on the remote to use a button. Also, if you hit the wrong button, no big deal, you just the other/s.
Like I mentioned, stop giving them excuses.

0·3 months agoThey don’t really mention if it’s illegal or not to their reasoning. They only use three parameters for the decision.
They argue for points 2 (health risk) and 3 (commonly abused), both of which cigarettes and alcohol fit right in, but are unrestricted.
Meanwhile Sha’Carri (US running) was DQ’d previously for having THC in her system. Still trying to wrap my head around how pot can help you run faster.
They weren’t concerned about CBD or anything else, just the psychoactive THC.
