The EU has a mutual defence clause, if an outside nation attacked a member then the French Navy would be EU Navy. The only exception to this would be inter-member conflicts.
Look, mate, Apple will betray you at every possible turn. The prices they charge don’t justify the products they sell, and you incur risks by merely using their products which fail after only a few years and you’re not allowed to repair. Literally every reason you would purchase a mac, you would be better off to go with Linux or Windows instead. Even if you like the efficiency of the apple ARM processors, which they hold the advantage in only via anticompetitive market practices, their low lifespan doesn’t seem to justify the cost. Generally they’re built to last about 7 years, due to California regulations, but they experience major slowdowns and failures after about 2 or 3.
And the entire time: you’ll funneling money into sweatshop operations.
France has the third largest navy on earth, bro.
Sucks to suck if you ever need one repaired. Which is very often.
Sun Tzu would have cared.
Well, listen, if I were a Ukrainian military or political leader and I saw an opportunity to have a well enforced ceasefire and then I could STILL join a large military coalition to prevent any further conflicts, then I would take that deal. The real curiosity here is if Russia respects the capabilities of the EU military or if they are only deterred by NATO.
I think these are topics worth discussing in depth to reduce loss of human lives now and in the far future as much as possible.
TBH if it weren’t for windows I don’t think anybody would be dumb enough to use a Mac computer. Microsoft really wasting potential in the OS market, though, I agree.
Maybe a loophole in Russian demands for them to stay out of NATO?
Or maybe Russia won’t care because they already plan on advancing into Europe.
Windows actually aren’t a very big share of their revenue, but Office is yeah.
Even worse, the USA is on the verge of electing a Pro-Russia president who wants to end NATO.
It seems a little reductive/whataboutist to bring that up in the conversation about rich british assholes, though?
Alright but there are people who currently exist who are already over the Rubicon. Ideal future utopias aside, force must be met with force.
Russia will not stop warring if Ukraine surrenders. Russia’s war will stretch to every corner of the earth.
I wish some politicians, artists, and scientists that I used to follow used Mastodon.
TBH I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re not being targeted at all but rather align perfectly with the real target audience: lonely, expendable income, low intelligence, low understanding of tech or finance, aging population.
For example, Oil and Gas Company Weatherford operates in 75 countries. Al Mansoori also has a wider base of operations. Also, again, if lawyers and journalists are so harmless to the GREAT AND POWERFUL ROYAL OVERLORDS™ then nobody would ever need to be butchered. If a large number of people, say hundreds of affected families, in a class action lawsuit all get butchered at once then even Royalty is going to have a very hard time both domestic and abroad.
It’s pretty clear imo, the seared bones were sealed in the urn full of wine and an additional unworn decorated golden ring. The researchers even talk about reluctance to try it, because while it is perfectly safe judging by the microbiological analysis: it’s had contact with the bones and is quite murky.
If anything, the bonesaws were a symbol of their weakness. These people are literally dying already.
Alright but he quoted a gospel from 70AD, and the idea that in the “true gospel” he wasn’t the son of god or never claimed to be is a concept present in opposing religions like Islam first written down 500 years later, which famously mistranslated Marry with “she flowed like a river” instead of “she was chaste” when the region was constantly caught between Phoenician based alphabets like Greek, Hebrew, multiple Arabics, and much later on Cyrillic.
The Roman’s artistic licenses aside, their accounts of history are the most reliable source on all of this.
