I played through 1 - 4 and honestly, I think 4 was the only one that was actively good. The others might once have been fun, but they didn’t really hold up. However I had a great time with 4. I particularly liked the epilogue.

That’s a lot more like it! Thanks for sharing.
Indeed, I read the article. That’s literally what I was moaning about!
I was expecting a bit more. Some before and after screenshots, for example, some specifics about what these “several issues” that were fixed were would be nice too.
The article is pretty bloody vague…
That’ll certainly make it easier to pay the CEO.
Unless they’re suddenly shoving a UHD drive in there, I’m not interested.
It seems a weird oversight - gamers that care about 4K surely also care about films in 4K? The notion of it being an external add-on is laughable.
Then again, this whole thing is a solution looking for a problem.
lol, “X”. Get fucked.
The scarecrow is awful. In a good way.
I only played through the second one but the thing that got me was just how ambitious it was. It ruined many other games for me as I was left thinking “Where’s the rest of the game?”.
The opening act of Little Big Adventure 2 gets my vote.
Odd idiom to take issue with…
I don’t think I’ve ever signed anything when a card is involved. Cheques back when they were a thing, sure, but they were all but irrelevant fifteen years ago.
The spore lore was only implemented in 1997. Before that their reproduction worked differently.
Is there a single canonical citation for this? It feels like a meme.
Which Ork models have nipples?
I can’t say my knowledge of the current range is exhaustive, but I can’t think of a single model that has one from the 1998 - 2016 era. There’s a runtherd with a piercing where a nipple would be, but no nipple.
The Temple of Trials is intended to be a tutorial - something the executives insisted they include. The first game’s tutorial is in the manual.
The maze puzzle with the electrified floor is some absolute bullshit. I wonder if there’s a mod to remove that nonsense?
As for the beginning, I used a mod to skip the Temple of Trials because you’re absolutely right, it’s such a tedious slog. Yay, executive meddling!
I really enjoyed playing through Fallout 2 on my deck.
I remember it dawning on me and making me grin. “Is that, oh it so is!”
