Philippines should be next. Unfortunately the lack of net neutrality allows our telcos to literally provide unlimited text-only Facebook access for free, like wtf…

This is not nice.

Linux equivalent: Imagine if AppImageD pops up asking for your opinion and feedback on AppImages whenever you visit Flathub or Snapcraft.
Brodie Robertson is an excellent source of information ☹️
Google is paying Mozilla to keep their search engine the default in Firefox. Period. There is no Google spyware (or any spyware in general) in Firefox. Just because Google is the default search engine in Firefox doesn’t mean Firefox is Google-controlled spyware.
Also Librewolf’s privacy is in some ways selfish on their part. It strips out Firefox’s troubleshooting data collection so Mozilla loses a good chunk of clues on how well the browser works. Lack of any data would lead to lower browser quality, ends up as a worse Firefox release, and Librewolf gets to be affected directly as a downstream of Firefox. By removing troubleshooting or usage data (which practically doesn’t affect privacy in any way), Librewolf is just hurting itself in the long run. If they’re really aggressive against directly contributing data back to Mozilla, then they should just run their own collection server and contribute the final data back to Mozilla.
The far bigger problem is that most reviews are just devoid of useful information. “Thing arrived and box looked pretty” is what most of them boil down to. If they are fake or not doesn’t make a difference.
But-But how are we supposed to know how handsome/beautiful the delivery rider who delivered the parcel is???
I have been using uBlock for an extremely long time now and sites seem to become faster over time even though I have never upgraded my laptop all these years.
When I tried to disable uBlock for a day, my laptop forcefully shut down after 30 minutes.
Software optimization over time improves performance but is outweighted by the tracking crap they put in there.
They might as well turn it to a 13 dash line and include the entire Luzon as well if they want to fully enforce this. Article 5: Philippine-American Edition.
Ditto (Japanese: メタモン Metamon) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.
In its natural state, Ditto is a light-purple or pink blob-like Pokémon with vestigial facial features. It is often referred to as amorphous, but has a relatively consistent appearance in official artwork, including two small nubs on its “head”, a few soft lumps at its base, and two pseudopod-like protrusions in place of arms. The face consists of beady eyes and a simple mouth; almost always pulled into a smile.
It is capable of transforming into an exact replica of any physical object or living creature, including its form and abilities. Each Ditto has its own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to transforming; being unable to remain transformed while laughing and getting details of its transformation wrong if based on memory being apparently universal.
It costs them $38M and earns them $200-300M in return
Pre-installed tools such as a translator and tab bar on the left
More pre-installed themes and integration with Mica For Everyone (haven’t tested this because I ain’t booting to W🤢ndows)
Tighter on privacy than default Firefox
There are some others I may have missed because I got used to them
Or Floorp for an even better experience
Unfortunately the tech-illiterate heads that control DOST would reject such proposal.
