Turns out its just hot wheels for man-children.
Like 90% of the point of hot wheels was looking cool, so I have to respectfully disagree

long term, it’s cheaper to just play games online on PC
The companies are clearly coming to terms with this, as well. I’ll be avoiding Sony games on PC for the foreseeable future - after the Helldivers debacle, it’s clear that Sony is looking for ways to monetize PC players.
You’re kinda both right - Dead Cells was developed by Motion Twin, who spun off a smaller team called Evil Empire to support it after release. Rogue PoP is developed by Evil Empire, while Motion Twin proper is working on Windblown.
lol. I’m old enough to have worked with SVN (and many others) as part of my day job, and I promise you that 99% of git users use literally the same exact workflow as they did/would have under any other VCS. Git’s fine, but it’s neither revolutionary nor important from a user’s perspective.
It’s interesting to see Torvalds emerge as a kind of based tech hero.
It’s just that almost everyone else that could do it ended up being fucking ghouls of people.
Torvalds can be… brusque, sure. But he doesn’t support child labor, he doesn’t cheat on his wife, and he isn’t some crazy cult leader waging a war against workers’ rights.
Anyone releasing a roguelite last week or even this week is fucking braindead. I don’t care how good your game is: Hades is the undisputed GOAT of the genre, competing with its sequels release could literally only have negative results compared to delaying.
What are they doing to stand up to the bullies? They only understand definitive language or actions. If your child is just saying “no, you can’t do that,” nothing will happen. In the past, “standing up to a bully” generally meant breaking their nose.
EDIT: oh, this is about you as an adult, not your children. Good luck, adult bullies have that behavior ingrained in them from decades of training. Avoid them or get them in legal/job trouble, those are your only realistic options.
Smart. I’ve got at least a week’s worth of Hades left to play, and I literally hadn’t heard of this game. Now, I’ll probably check it out when it drops.
Nah, this is a stupid internet shit-take.
Amazon support was actually great when they first started, and has just slowly slid downhill ever since. They had to start strong, because nobody really trusted online shopping yet. People forget that before Amazon was a handful of sketchy one-off websites and mail-in orders.
Hell, it’s not even “breaking even” - making the same amount of money as last year is considered a failure, even if that number is astronomical.
I left over the past year 🤷♂️ I imagine more and more will do so as the service continues to slide further to shit
I’ve been using the same DeathAdder for like 10 years 😅 what are you doing to these poor mice
NZXT just started expanding on making components, and has really feature stuff. One to watch, though higher-end.
NZXT has always been some really mediocre stuff at ridiculous markup, I don’t have literally any faith in this statement
What are the problems with Razer? I’ve only used their mice, so I honestly don’t even know what else they make
It’s Facebook… They’re 100% going the Windows route so that you can’t turn off all of the data collection that will go straight to them.
I’d say it’s closer to the rule than the exception, but is closer to the middle than either of them.
Yes, a lot of addicts - most, probably - just shift their addiction to something else (hopefully something healthier), but that’s in no way universal.
Add onto that… the waters get real muddy when you start defining addiction. Is it still addiction if it’s good for you? Like, if I can’t get through a week without some celery, would people even call me an addict? If I can’t start my day without a run, would anyone ever think to say I have a problem?
If someone kicked you in the balls, would it be ok for everyone you meet after that to punch you in the face?
But that isn’t the situation. The situation is that you can choose to let someone kick you in the balls, or you can choose to let a whole gang mug you. There isn’t a third choice, no matter how much you want there to be. Third party candidates are a great ideal, but until we have a different voting system, it will continue being an ideal instead of reality.
That wouldn’t be difficult at all if it was in version control, just load them into an editor in a binary-search fashion. Even if it takes a few minutes per check, that shouldn’t take more than a few hours.
This is not even remotely new for Nintendo, and is exactly how they have always reacted to fan games 🤷♂️
Yup, those are both the industry terms
