It’s business as usual.

How come *some people who are against abortion are *also in favor of the death penalty? (Ftfy) Kind of seems like a contradicition/
What contradiction do you speak of? Save a life, take a life. Seems logical doesn’t it?
Oh man, that sounds like deep state Russian/China operatives trying to push an agenda. Something like that?
What…
Maybe unfortunately, but the sexual orientation of folks (homosexuality) is definitely used as a tool by politicians to push certain agendas. Politicians will pander to these groups like they do to many other groups.
OOP said, “My existence is political.” And wasn’t wrong.
Whatever belief you’re holding. You’re not going to stop existing.
Politics is dirty. The propaganda is real and everywhere. Good propaganda pulls at “feeling” and “emotions.” If they can get you mad about something, the propaganda worked.
If your self identity is “political,” they have won. Thats exactly what they want. They got you. They will use you to help push their agenda. Im sorry this is rough, but it is what it is. I’m gonna say it… you’re going to be used as a pawn of the left.
Ok… if I know who it is i might be able to avoid them better.
You aren’t going to stop existing because a held belief stops existing.
my existence is considered “political”.
I wish this would give you (and others) a pause to reflect on held opinions.
“Tankie” ?? What’s that?
But… there are libertarians, this is an objective fact… Some folks are so extremely left that any other political opinion is to the right of them. You may need to come back a little towards the center.
Edit: In contemporary US politics libertarian is usually used to describe a set of political values that advocate liberal social policies with conservative economic policies. This means they don’t fit neatly on a left/right spectrum because they (mostly) align with Democrats on social issues and Republicans on economic issues.
This is just objectively wrong…
Yall… “libertarian” isn’t necessarily right or left.
It is important to notice that political labels mean different things in different parts of the world and at different points of time.

Libertarians can be seen as left of the right and right of the left.
Leave it up to lemmy to provide the link for government approved dad jokes…
Liberals… always going back to the governments teet.
