All the comments are fun and games but they could’ve used aluminium which is way cheaper. It’s nothing more than a marketing gimmick.

I thought veritasium explained in his night vision video that this wasn’t the case? I’m not sure though.

This is my issue with Fairphone too. I love the idea and execution and I understand those things cause the product to be more expensive but twice the price to comparable products is just too steep for me.

They are planning to extend. I wouldn’t hold my breath though until they give a solid date.
