That does seem like a pickle. There is a band that is (well, WAS) LOCAL to me and I still couldn’t get digital files. I was bitching about on reddit a while back, and I got a DM from someone who sent me an email with the files. They’re in 320mp3, but better than what I had before.
Good luck with that, and have fun in Guadalajara if you go!
Seriously? Like, finding and buying those two CDs used would be cheaper than maintaining a Spotify subscription.

I 100% believe you’ve got this. You’re 90% of the way there already. You have identified a problem, determined the source of the problem, determined the problem’s current and probable effects in your lives and the lives of others, identified several solutions, and have a plan in place. All you need is the methodology for solving this problem (which you already have on the calendar).

They left probably 12-18 months ago. There are new hosts (which will be familiar if you’re a long-time listener) and the quality of NEW episodes is probably just as good as the old ones, albeit with some format changes. However, I think they only release new episodes once every two or three weeks, but they rerun an old show every week. Kinda sucks. It used to be my favorite podcast
Radiolab was great until Jad and Robert left. Now it’s 75% reruns
I had a very similar experience. I heard a phrase that allowed me to understand, and that one phrase made me quit.
