I’m an American. I hate and oppose trump with every fiber of my being. I am ashamed to live here. I feel like I’m trapped, surrounded by idiots. I can’t afford to uproot my family and move out.

I don’t want to come to lemmy and be insulted, just because I’m in a country where too many people made the wrong choice.

The USA still has good people. Anti-fascist, anti-trump, anti-ignorance/cruelty/racism/hate.

Protest votes are fucking stupid. They accomplish nothing. I will vote to keep trump out of office. Harris is the best choice to keep him out. End of discussion.

I know that the hold that Israel (and the military industrial complex) has on both major political parties is money, Money, MONEY. But there has got to be a breaking point. I thought the breaking point would be the indiscriminate slaughter of innocent children, but alas.

I mean, I will still vote for Harris, because I’m not stupid. I know the alternative is far worse. But I’d rather not have innocent blood on my hands after I fill out that ballot.

That is due to the fact that Reddit - and I can’t stress this next part enough - sucks.

In reality, it’s a war crime to fire on medics in combat zones. That doesn’t always stop people from doing it, but it’s still frowned upon. Same rule could apply to unarmed medics in games.

There should be some penalty for shooting unarmed healers. Just to let others know that you’re a dick.

If healers are unable to harm others, then maybe add a scoring system which penalizes people for harming/killing healers. Taking “kills” away or whatever.

Dirt (series) - because I love rally racing.

Motorstorm (series) - because racing across an active volcano is fun as fuck.

Carmageddon (series) - because it’s insane and hilarious.

Twisted Metal 2 - not really a racing game, but close enough.

Home media / automation server: Ubuntu (latest stable distro).

Personal laptop: Mac OS Sonoma (I’ve always used Mac for personal computing. It’s comfortable).

Samsung devices & appliances are notoriously prone to catastrophic failure - as a matter of fact, I actually had a Samsung TV melt itself - which turns out is a common issue (Google “Samsung tv melting corner”).

Then there’s the Samsung battery fire issues, Samsung refrigerator safety lawsuits, etc.

…and will probably explode.
