My issue is, aside from gaming, I’m not interacting with the content or data in any meaningful, improved way.
VR for real life is just a series of flat two dimensional screens, usually with a novelty background of a waterfall.

Right now my phone gives me the option if RCS fails for some reason, to send the message again with SMS. I assume that will be the case here as well.
They’re very inconsistent. I’ve had an x360 since 2020 and, aside from the hinge being weak, it’s still going. I’m also pretty careless with my equipment. My wife uses it now.
But then, I’ve seen more than one like yours that has seemed to evaporate like a cheap t-shirt.
“The good news is we have a console for people without internet access, it’s called Xbox 360”
First their drm is based around the assumption that you’re a criminal, and now this. I’m kinda glad I didn’t buy it.
The 8gb ram MacBook works great for your average Mac user. The person who uses it for writing resumes and surfing YouTube which I’m sure is a huge chunk of the market. Devs/Gamers/power users can’t make do with 8gb, but my sister in law who just does paper work and teams meetings all day is served well by her 2016 laptop, and wouldn’t have any issue with an 8gb MacBook.
This is more or less what I was getting at. Windows UAC triggers so often with no context that’s its really just an annoying popup to most users. You need to pass the same UAC prompts to installing Excel as to install a root kit or a compromised software package.
I hate how obfuscated it is on Windows. At least if it asked me for sudo, I’d know to Uninstall. On Windows programs can just do anything.
Trypticon. He unfolds into a base, and he walks in Dino mode, and he’s so freaking cool.
Calling Menzies a “reporter” is playing fast and loose with the term. Also, someone tell Pierre to brush up on the charter. You’re allowed to have press, but you’re not allowed to harass people.
Changing the channel on tvs in public spaces mostly.
That’s the most frustrating thing. I have 3 mesh waps in my house, but if you connect in a different room you get 2.4ghz. At this point I need a mesh wap in every room.
As the wavelengths get shorter, so too does my patience :/
Will I be able to use it in another room? Because wow wifi 5 was awful, and 6 isn’t that much better.
I think you’ve invented dryer lint.
Who cares what other people think of you’re having fun?
Personally, I’ve never really had a good experience with mobile games. I keep trying, but the games I get recommended seem shallow, and I have a serious aversion to ads so that ruins most mobile experiences for me. The games I have enjoyed on mobile are mostly puzzle games, or clones and ports of games from other systems. But who cares what I think if you have fun. My partner spends way more time playing games on their phone than on PC or PS5. Different strokes, and all that.
I’ve always been interested in if there were a way to bake more RAM onto these boards. Presumably the pads are there and they’re just not populated, so could you make a stencil for the solder balls with a cnc and buy another RAM chip and stick it in to one of those directed heat platforms. Would macos accept that, or would it throw a hissy fit because of miss matched licenses.
The more people that use Linux, the better it will get! It’s win win!
Zipline is doing some freaking amazing things!
I would blame this, and a lot of the problems “western” countries face, on the proliferation of 24 hour cable news networks since the Gulf War.
I demoed a system that let you input construction plans and walk around/ interact with ar wires/plumbing/walls once. But it was so cumbersome to implement it was more like a neat tech demo.
Maybe once the tech is small enough to fit inside safety glasses…
