Vote with your wallet. This shit right here dawg. That saying has lost its weight for some reason. Given there are a lot of ways that can be difficult or even impossible, but it’s still our best hope next to pitch forks and torches.

Well said.
Lol, watch him try to make nerualink mandatory.
I can’t help with the middle days but I have a trick for Friday. Look for something the entire week that can be pushed, for a semi valid reason, to Friday afternoon/evening. Preferably something that’s easy but takes a lot of waiting. That way when someone tries to drop some shit on you last minute you can say " sorry boss I’m already scheduled for x or y priority task, it’ll have to wait until Monday " it doesn’t always work, especially if your boss is a fucking Slave Driver. But it has saved me a few times.
Right now I have a ticket scheduled for around 3:30 that should keep me “busy” until 5.
Under rated game. Great story and cinematic feel.
I do remember that, shit. I was so young it didn’t click. Damn.
Holy shit did he really say that. Jr or Sr?
If you like strategy games. This is one of my favorite games of all time. I haven’t seen anything quite like it sense. Close, but nothing hit the genre mix like this game.
Rise and fall: civilization at war.
Yeah someone explained this earlier and I commented admitting my mistake. Definitely one of my shittier takes.
Fuck alright, I’ll admit I missed that part. I retract my previous statement and feel like a fool. I’ll leave the comment up to illustrate my lapse in judgement, just in case anyone else only skimmed the article and missed that like I did.
So guys, not saying this was right, murder is wrong in almost all scenarios. That being said I feel like no one in this thread actually read the article, he didn’t just eat a banana. He took a banana that was give as a ritualistic offering to a Hindu deity. Didn’t deserve death, but if the accusation is true he had to have expected some serious consequences.
Like come on, if this was an article about a Muslim community beating the shit out of someone for throwing bacon at a mosque, we’d all probably have a different reaction. Murder was too far, but you can’t spit in the face of someone’s religion or culture and expect nothing to happen.
Yeah, cruel fact about humanity. All these great technologies could give us luxury space communism in 100 years or so, but that won’t happen. Shitty people will be shitty and these technologies will be used for shitty purposes or intentionally stunted.
Lol no, that’s how I meant it.
Look I’m not one to say American invasion was right in any way, but this is a bit of a misleading in title. Most sources in the article reference indirect deaths. If we quantified everything in indirect deaths, death tolls across the board would be inflated in the same proportion. I think it important to keep in mind the U.S. wasn’t fuckin digging mass graves over there. The stated number would mean we would need to kill around 600 people a day for 20+ years. No amount of media corruption in the world could coverup that many deaths. I’ve known and do know people who were natives that served as translators during the war, that’s not how they tell it.
Alright ya know that is a really fair point. I’m sure regulation and code enforcement has a role to play here but keeping in mind they probably have twice the amount of high rise structures compared to anyone is a pretty big factor.
Most research shows that child predators seek out positions of authority and trust in order to best take advantage of youth. It not only forms a relationship of trust, but one of fear if they speak out. Id imagine it’s way easier to become a pastor/preacher/preist than it is a teacher, or school liaison officer, or community leader.
Not saying there aren’t problems with the church/religion as a whole. Christianity especially, most Christians now days represent almost everything Jesus spoke against.
Either 1, a bunch of textbooks and encyclopedias. Or 2, a tablet/computer with said texts downloaded, a battery pack for said tablet/computer, and a few fold out solar panels or maybe one of those hand crank things. If I still have space I’d bring a soldering iron, a bunch of tips for it, flux and a bunch of different solders. Maybe a few spare parts for the laptop.
