It’s because they launched this product with an actual reasonable amount of ram (16gb) compared to the 8gb they are still selling MacBooks with. So, if they can’t charge you $300 for a little bit of ram now, they instead are going to rape you on storage. Apple is still apple.

I’d never heard of these so I checked it out. At a price point of about $1200 (over double what a steam deck costs) I certainly hope it “puts the deck to shame”.

The old Ford Rangers were definitely not easy on gas, and those back seats were extremely unsafe. But we could absolutely have trucks that size now that are fuel efficient and safer, and I would buy one in a heart beat. Hell, I tried to buy a Maverick but it’s been impossible every year and now they don’t even come with the hybrid drivetrain standard so I’ve lost interest.

I drove a '94 Ford Probe for awhile, it was already 15 years old when I bought it, so I had been hearing stories about the shoddy reliability of flip up headlights for years at this point. Imagine my surprise when I never had any issues with them then, even while living in northern Minnesota. I remember one time after a particularly bad ice storm, turning them on and watching them shatter the ice on my hood and send pieces flying while popping up just the same as always. I loved that car and wish I’d had the money to keep it going.

I like to shit on Pokemon and Nintendo as much as the rest of them but this isn’t really true. Legends: Arceus, while not a great pokemon game overall, introduced several new mechanics, some of which then made their way into Scarlet/Violet. The biggest and best of which, in my opinion, is the ability to catch wild pokemon without battling them.

Yeah, don’t get too hyped up. It’s really just a pretty average open world RPG. Playing Gwent is probably the best part, and even that isn’t nearly as good as Pazaak.

I’m not a stardew fan but “this game is legit insane” is not a phrase that would get me excited for any game.

5’s combat is better than 4’s in every single way

Halo 5 has ADS and Halo 4 does not. This alone makes Halo 5 combat worse.

Wireless cameras and “smart” doorbells shouldn’t even be seen as security devices to begin with. They’re for verifying your Amazon delivery and checking on the dog and nothing more.

On the other side of this coin, my Skullcandy Indy ANC earbuds have been such garbage that I have swore off all Skullcandy products forever. Even since they were new the case would show full charge and you’d open it up to find totally dead earbuds. If you left them dead for too long they would stop charging completely. At this point the only way to revive them is to strip some wires and “jump start” them with another battery. I’ve had to do this so many times I just keep the wires taped to a AA battery. I filed a warranty claim for this the first time and they denied me any sort of support, even though the Internet shows my case is not unique and actually very common.
