I’m aware, but that doesn’t negate my point. The tenant company still has to pay more in utilities and such to bring people back to the office. Whether they pay that cost for 10, 20, however many years is extraneous.

Justifying the rental expense doesn’t really make sense, because they end up paying more in utilities in addition to the rent. If you’re still on the hook for a lease and have most employees WFH, just downsize when the lease ends or move everything remote if possible.

Security through obscurity is not security

I have a Samsung TV and there is no official app for it. You have to side load it from a community repo. This was another factor for why I don’t use Jellyfin as much, especially since my partner primarily uses the TV and is not as tech savvy.

I for one would love to use Jellyfin. Though I’ve found in my personal experience it’s not as stable as Plex nor has as many features yet. I currently have both running on my home system but primarily use Plex. One day I will fully switch.

I studied Mandarin in college and I feel this comment. Keep it up, Mandarin is definitely a difficult language, but it can be blast to learn. There are other keyboards options on smartphone that may be better suited to learning Chinese. Feel free to dm me if u got any questions.

As for the assholes, yeah ignore them. Every language/country has assholes so the best you can do is just not give them attention. Unfortunately China is growing more nationalist and xenophobic, but there are still plenty of people that are ecstatic to speak with newbies like us in their native tongue. Don’t let the worst get you down :)
