Convert me papal papi!
Don’t forget his total lack of actual ‘prowess’ in running Twitter.
To be like their own? Uh-huh. Because they’re so well known for the compassion and understanding. 🤣 🪷☸️📿🤲🙇
Let’s do a check in with Tibet and also the Uyghurs… Or their own people… Or Taiwan… Or…
Tämän vuoden hyttyset ovat ihan helvetin kauheita. 💀🦟
That is peak shittiness. Thank goodness your Mum has you to advocate, and I shudder to think of how many others don’t and were shafted or continue to be shafted.
Their competition for PDF Reader; Foxit, jacked their prices up considerably this last year too. It used to be an affordable alternative. They too got greedy (I assume since Adobe was getting away with it!) and have lost a considerable amount of customers in both the consumer end-users and the business side.
PDF becomes increasingly more used and ‘standard’ with the fracturing of ability to edit them or do ‘advanced’ tasks like merging multiple PDFs.
There are some alternatives which are free but also either Freemium or just plain questionable in their usage. I don’t want to trust some random company and I don’t want to be nickel and dimed for basic features like merge.
I spent a long time testing and trying tools. Sadly nothing as comprehensive as what Acrobat offers, but not an option at their pricing. Same with Foxit. I use PDFsam for some basic merge stuff. An interesting project is also Stirling PDF. but pdfsam is like Freemium and Stirling I’m pretty requires docker and it’s also not in all languages.
Well, as a gay man myself, I suppose I didn’t consider it’s not obvious that the person commenting this (me) was gay themselves. So in my own defense I was thinking it internally that he should talk to ‘us fags’.
I’ll probably get hammered for this, but then again, you’ll have to pay for API access anyway. I’ve been testing out notegpt.io (not affiliated). Exactly because of my reasons listed, and because I often have to research or do trainings, I needed ways to save time and ‘sift’ through lots of information. I used to just play videos in say 1.5 speed, but even then it’s sometimes hard to stay focused or you might miss something and have to stop and go back. Sometimes language is a barrier too. Not to mention the ads. So for my own sanity, I’ve been testing that out. It’s been pretty damn good actually. I can get by on the lowest tier and you can try it free too. Again it’s not for everyone, but I’d rather give them money than Google for their Anti-customer behavior.
They should for him to deal with only ‘fags’ in Politics. Push his agenda however he wants, but it’s gotta run through the fags he keeps talking shit about behind closed doors. Let’s see how well his agendas will play out.
Pope Francis uses anti-gay f-slur while refusing to let gay men join the priesthood
For the second time in a month, Pope Francis used an Italian slur in association with his opposition to gay men in the priesthood.
Mitch McConnell, Manchin, Shkrelli, Ben Shapiro… I suppose you have a point.
Why should I pay or watch ads to listen to someone tell me I need to • like and subscribe • who’s sponsoring them • a life story
… before getting to the small percentage of possible useful information therein?
I’ve taken to using Ai to summarize video content just to be able to review if the video even contains an answer or information which is relevant.
I know I’m just one use case, that I don’t watch a ton of other content. It’s usually how to do something or fix something or configuration of something. I’ve sat through countless ads and videos which just wasted my time and left me frustrated trying to find information.
Panning for gold through endless kaka.
Education.
No for real, a lot of right-wing thinking comes from just parroting disinformation and being in their own echo chamber circles.
Educated people are more likely to ‘lean left’:
Environment: Higher education institutions often emphasize critical thinking, questioning of traditional norms, and exposure to diverse perspectives. This can lead individuals to adopt more progressive or liberal views.
Diversity: College and university settings are typically more diverse, exposing students to different cultures, ideas, and lifestyles.
Rationalism: Educated individuals may place a higher value on scientific reasoning and empirical evidence, which can align more with policies and positions typically associated with the left, such as support for climate change action and public health initiatives.
Perspective: Higher education can lead to an understanding of economic inequality and systemic issues. Educated individuals might support policies aimed at reducing inequality and improving social welfare.
Career: Many educated individuals work in fields such as academia, healthcare, and social services, where left-leaning values like equity, public good, and social justice are prevalent.
Generational: Younger generations, who are more likely to be college-educated today than in the past, tend to have more progressive views on social issues, such as LGBTQ+ rights and racial equality.
Education is also ‘pushed’ by a lot of adults when I was a kid. I thought it was kinda normal / lame because duh, of course it’s important. I didn’t get grasp deepl WHY until I was older and realized it’s really a root causal issue of today’s problems.
You can only do so much marketing though. People don’t want to fly in these planes if it means a huge risk to their life. It’s simpler to just say no thanks. Businesses don’t want them if customers aren’t going to pay to fly on them. So marketing can only do so much. In the end your product needs to work. If it doesn’t, then again people don’t want to fly in them… And so on.
I was curious but only enough to get it summarized:
T-Mobile is trying to get customers who filed FCC complaints about recent price hikes to drop those complaints. However, at least one customer, “mjsztainbok,” is refusing to back down, citing T-Mobile’s broken promises and misleading claims. T-Mobile’s “Un-contract” and “Price Lock” guarantees appear to have been violated, with the company’s explanations being unsatisfactory. Customers feel cheated, and T-Mobile could face legal and regulatory troubles, including a potential class action lawsuit, over false advertising. The issue is unlikely to go away anytime soon for the “Re-carrier.”
The New York Times quoted Bibi on this:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel condemned the report, saying in a statement that the country’s military “is the most moral army in the world, and no delusional decision by the U.N. will change that.”
Who’s delusional… 🤨 Most Moral Army… Uh huh. Kill those women and children. Moral my ass.
It’s not antisemitic for criticizing Bibi. Especially that he’s acting like an asshole dictator.
The cache part pisses me off. I’m fucking paying you to stream me music. Not the same fucking shit over and over and over again.
Drilling deeper? Just in time for pride season 🏳🌈🦄🫦
My weight fluctuates. Sometimes I bloat up from medicine. Sometimes I can’t eat and lose weight. I can’t seem to just be me and be happy and have people like me no matter what my weight is. It is really frustrating going through your whole life hating your body because of external standards.
“Don’t care what other people think.”
Ok yeah well when you feel like people stare at you and silent judge you all the time, and internally you do the same thing to others and hate yourself even more for being part of the problem.
It’s constant brainwashing of the ‘ideal body’ when the reality is people come in all shapes and sizes. It’s hard to change that mindset when all the ads you see around you tell you differently.
Prevent them from leaving by offering better… How does this not further the idea of ‘well eff this place, bye!’
