read my post again. this is a provider that is probably losing business because people can’t get their referral in to see them unless they walk it through the door themselves. how is that convenient?

this makes no sense to me when patient portals exist. why isn’t there a provider portal that can handle sending medical info back and forth? I can see all my medical details online already.

no kidding! i have enough to deal with, without having to babysit a doctor’s office that won’t update their equipment.

i understand HIPAA. i don’t understand why we are still using the technology we started using in the 60s. my question is why haven’t we found a better way since then?

I’ve had my eye on this situation for months. i have a really bad feeling, not gonna lie. and having a vaccine denier in the white house again is REALLY bad timing.

when i was young, i was in a bad car accident where i had a head injury. someone stopped and held a shirt against my head and held my hand till the ambulance got there. I’ll never meet them, but I’ll never forget it.

yes, when i was around 18-20 i had very strong deja vu all the time where i knew what would happen next, like I’ve lived it before. down to knowing the exact words/tone people were about to say, things they’d end up doing, etc.

now, I’ll get that same feeling but it doesn’t result in correct predictions anymore. no idea why it used to, but it was always weird.

do NOT do this until you are away from your family. cops are exceptionally bad at handling this stuff

elementary school custodian. i love my schedule and the hours of alone time i get to listen to books and podcasts! a living wage and paid holidays are nice too.

genuinely asking… how do you ever find relevant results on duckduckgo? I’ve tried switching to it many times over the years but i just get too frustrated by its lack of intuitiveness.

i took one year of business school, and they teach you to offshore outsource as much as possible and to prioritize your shareholders at all costs. so, nothing surprising.

i will look for that to listen to at work. it sounds helpful. I’m definitely not giving in, but it is very scary being queer in America right now. I’m hopeful for the best but preparing for the worst.
