If we live in a computer simulation, then yes the creator could be made out of atoms. They just need to make a computer that simulates whatever physics they like.
But in a purely physical world that we understand, I think this question is too hard to answer. If they are in the 4th dimension and being able to manipulate space and time, or even the laws of nature, then anything is possible.

I suspect that either there are sociopaths who dislike everything, or there are bots being used to influence visibility of posts.

There is no point arguing with tankies. They are dumb and they won’t change. I just hope there will be a way to completely block those users including their comments. They are polluting the fediverse.
We are not too far from self-replicating machines controlled by AI. They will be built with a simple purpose: find resources and replicate.
Imagine a world with people trying to eliminate such machines, while machines learn new ways to get around any restrictions.
I am thinking of replaying Edith Finch because I must have missed a lot of details by the time I realised what the story was about.
Try changing your mindset when you approach the game, treat it like an interactive exploration or a digital toy. You might get into it more easily doing that.
I would not recommend Road 96 although some people seem to like it.
