I feel like people that know me may look at me like I’m a “Dwight Friend”, and I’ve long realized this (though never have I articulated it quite as well as you). It’s a real confidence killer when you realize this is how you’re viewed. But yes, if someone called needing help, I would be there in a heartbeat.

At this point, I’m surprised anybody (including myself) still buys/uses Google services, given how risky it is that you’ll become dependent on them and then they kill off the product(s). I really need to get off my ass and switch mail providers.

Aside of yourself, would anybody else genuinely notice the difference in shades? Especially if another one was not present for comparison.

I’m confused. So Macron’s party was democratically voted out by the people? So instead of accepting defeat like any rational person/party would, he decided to call a mulligan and do it all over again? What’s he going to do if they lose a second time?

How much of that is third-party libraries, and/or third-party hosted? Obviously the assets (images and music) aren’t being counted.

Why do we call it hallucinating? Call it what it is: lying. You want to be more “nice” about it: fabricating. “Google’s AI is fabricating more lies. No one dead… yet.”

I once worked in a questionable industry, where there was no such thing as NSFW (nor NSFL). My coworkers and I would have competitions to see who could freak each other out the most; this was back in the goatsie, 2g1c, and bme pain olympics days. 🤮

I have a bad habit of leaping without always looking. If you look at my comment history, I’m sure it’ll stick out like a sore thumb. But that is my proverbial cross to bear, and it’s something I feel like I’m getting better at.

This is a common problem when testing time-based software. And similarly why it’s difficult to test database-drive software. You have to put a lot of effort into setting up a good environment for testing and genuinely understand the software and its dependencies.

It really is the same thing though. It’s out of touch, insulting, and downright disrespectful to use something that is not unique to the provider, or valuable at all, as a reason to stay with said provider.

I’m not at a terminal right meow, but I believe it also bolds the found term(s). So there’s that, maybe?

I’d also add -H when grep’ing multiple files and --color if your terminal supports it.
