On the Internet, nobody knows you’re a human.

it is not out of the ordinary in Italy, where commemorations of this type take place every year
It is, luckily. You usually find out from the news, it’s not like we are used to see such display going on day in and day out without taking notice.
The trend has never stopped where I’m from. The hate is burning as bright as ever.
Yes but also no, the whole appeal is tied to her brand (her public image x the character HER), unlike Woody who is an original creation.
It’s like doing a commercial using a lookalike dressed like the original guy and pretending that’s a completely different actor.
Or you can record yourself buying stuff holding a newspaper and your ID.
A lot of guys in my generation have most of their savings in crypto.
No they do not.
There’s very little Jedi in the Star Wars Universe so it’s reasonable to consider the advancement of prosthetics in this universe indipendent from lightsabers.
I thought it was a great way to roast the game by implying it makes you shit yourself.
So… burning energy rather then improving local insulation.
Yes but 90% of the time they are not muddy or wet or snowy, and they stay on.
Yes and what’s best is we can be fully relaxed while having shoes on anywhere outdoor as an added benefit.
According to a different thread “USB 4” is in fact “USB4”.
“Japanese people on lemmy, what is Japan actually like?” “…”
wow that’s so much better than people trying to help!
Not an expert but at a certain point FreeTube introduced SponsorBlock in their code, and posted a blog post describing why it wasn’t on by default and how that choice was a good compromise toward the creators and to push for better form of monetization. A similar talk was had by NewPipe. From those link you can find all sort of details about the intended (and unintended) impact of those tools.

From those sources it’s easy to see that those technology are indeed transparent to some form of monetization.
Technology aside, I think it’s safe to assume YouTube incentivizes creators according to engagement and retention, no matter the technology used to see them or the ads shown, since what they are ultimately rewarding is the skill of the creator in grabbing human attention. How to maximize the monetization of that is secondary.
Or, you know, arkenfox and its wiki: https://github.com/arkenfox/user.js/
That pricing (or any pricing) is unsustainable, all it is there for is to give illusion of choice to try and comply with the law. Your data are useless if too many people choose to pay and Facebook dies, on the contrary the more people allows for refined monetization, the stronger Facebook’s business becomes (or get back to before GDPR status).
Why would you need a researcher for that? This is not some ancient history or something…
Those lines are taken from recordings of Giambruno’s conversations with colleagues in between takes of the show he used to host.
The conversation was far from being what one would consider consensual and he is now been suspended and investigated for sexual harassment.
There is a recent one?
Make it IBM T43 and Oblivion.
