8·19 days agoCurrent: Pixel 6a. Probably the best out of all the phones I’ve owned. Wish the battery life was a little bit longer.
I do have a soft spot for my first ever smartphone, the Nexus 4. I adored it.

It won’t fix the issue of comments being everywhere though. Take this post I made on [email protected]. The same link has been crossposted to 7 other communities with many more comments. - Seal: Allows me to download YouTube videos, Instagram reels, etc. It’s a simple and pretty front end for yt-dlp.
- Fossify Calendar: Finally kicked Google Calendar to the curb. No fuss calendar app.
- AVNC: Allows me to remotely control my laptop from my phone. Requires installation of VNC software on the laptop (I’m using TightVNC).
- Binary Eye: Barcode/QR code scanner with history.
- Loop Habit Tracker: Helps me keep track of habits – eg. going to the gym X times a week.
- Island: Allows me to create a clone of app. Useful for apps that don’t support multi-accounts.
- Simple Time Tracker: I use it to keep track of how long I spend playing a game, since I like documenting the info for HowLongToBeat.com

Started Hellblade II during the weekend. Visually it’s the most impressive game I’ve played so far.
What I struggle with is keeping up with the story and all of the runestones and dialogue and everything. I enjoyed Hellblade I but had to go through the plot on Wikipedia after completing the game to understand what I had just played.
Third one’s stated for release next year.

I played it a few days ago. Been a while since I played AW and I enjoy Remedy’s games so it was worth checking out for me.
I thought it was alright. Aside from the main character, the voice acting is ridiculously goofy.
They were working on iOS and Android ports.

202·4 months agoThe moment they fix the search, fix their recommendations, stop wasting money on junk projects like games and allow me to completely disable Shorts, I will resubscribe to YT Premium.
Xbox takes a 30% cut from devs, has ads on its console and wants to charge a subscription for online gaming (now raising its price by 25%). Can’t triple dip like this, Microsoft.
Haven’t renewed PS Plus either since its price hike. Just gonna play disc games on my PS5 till the end of its lifespan.
Nintendo Switch OLED.
In my opinion it’s the perfect console form factor. Portable yet dockable when needed, detachable Joycons that can turn into 2 controllers for multiplayer games and a bright and vibrant OLED screen.
it’s unfortunate that it’s severely locked down by Nintendo, held back by its weak processor and Nintendo dropped the ball with Joycon drift.
Slightly off topic, but starting 2025 they’re going to stop providing quarterly subscriber numbers to focus on “other metrics” related to revenue and growth.
Adored the game. It’s fun and I love the chill vibes. I wish the in-game map was a bit better to make navigation easier.
I’m all for cat games. Stray, Little Kitty Big City – gimme more!
