So there’s no chance that this threat could backfire? By the looks of the Israeli protest marches, not everyone in that country agrees with the current government’s heavy handed approach. Could this be a bluff?

Yeah, sometimes (most times?) that’s what happens when you hate.
Workers assembling computer-driven robots and flow-forming machines at a new General Dynamics artillery ammunition factory in Mesquite…
…and…
Here, in the Pentagon’s first new major arms plant built since Russia invaded Ukraine…
So the NYT doesn’t even try to pretend that General Dynamics and the Pentagon are not the same entity.
In the US the only source of leaded gasoline that I’m aware of is aviation gas. Lots of (all?) older piston-driven airplanes use it.

Because she participated in that protest, she got arrested, a news source wrote about it, and you got to bring up good points about how we need to take more action.
Yeah she babbles speaks about the issues, but since she’s not (yet?) an elected official, what else would you have her do?

Adding to these good suggestions: shop at thrift stores.
And if you have time: volunteer at a thrift store.
Seems like the most logical, and humane, thing to do would be to break ties with Israel instead. South Africa is on the right side of history on this one.
Believe whatever you want in the privacy of your own mind, but this whole conflict wouldn’t be happening if some crazy religious people hadn’t stolen lots of land in the first place, and then persecuted the remaining inhabitants.
Yeah, it makes it sound like the trees are getting together because they’re planning something - improving the world maybe.
