How do you mean? I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and aside from one website (my bank) everything I’ve tried to do with it has been perfectly fine. It even has adblock and videos play in the background. I’ve also not seen any issues with dark mode; I’m using dark mode right now, actually.

I’ve also recently started using this extension, and it’s incredible by comparison. Despite the name being “Simple”, it feels way more advanced than Chrome’s half-hearted attempt at tab groups.
I’m unsure what I’m going to do when my steam controller breaks. No other controller even comes close, including the Xbox controller that I consistently see recommended. The gyro especially is so fucking nice, and AFAIK nothing else has one that works the same way.

I used to feel that way too, but after trying games on Linux again recently (got a steam deck) I have yet to find a single game that doesn’t work on Linux at this point. I’m not even exaggerating, literally every game I’ve tried works without issue, even if it’s “Windows only”.
My doctor’s weird video chat doesn’t work in Firefox (and even in Chrome it’s barely functional probably because it hasn’t been updated since before the pandemic), but other than that singular example, everything else works fine. I think most people parroting complaints about Firefox just haven’t used it recently enough to realize that it’s fine in 99.9% of cases.

Honestly, they often still are more annoying, IMO. After all, it’s not often that you see a Windows user being snobby about their OS, generally it’s just used by default because of work or it came with their PC and they haven’t bothered changing, or gaming.
Thankfully gaming on Linux is almost better than on Windows these days, it’s exciting to see!
It’s definitely not in your face. I’ve been using Windows 11 in some fashion ever since it was released, and I didn’t even know there was a backup app. I just ran it now to look at it, and it’s pretty tame. It syncs app installs from the Windows Store (which you don’t even need to use ever) and some settings like accessibility. I’ve long since removed OneDrive, which is what it looks as if the backup app uses to sync folders, so it’s disabled for me.
I’m not sure the backup app even does anything on it’s own, really. It seems like it’s just displaying some settings from other apps in a central location. 🤷♂️ This seems like a non story to me.
Capitalist propaganda has done a good job of equating itself to market trade so thoroughly that many people can’t even imagine markets existing outside of capitalism, and they think absence of capitalism means nobody buys anything from anyone else.
I’m not sure that it’s inconceivable to scientists that interesting buildings existed half a million years ago, but there is a lack of evidence of that, so findings like this one are important.
Spam is just pork and ham mixed with some salt and sugar, I don’t see how that’s not “real food”, people all over the planet have eaten those things as food for thousands of years before someone had the audacity to …put it in a can for convenient distribution.

As far as I know, Firefox Mobile doesn’t have a bottom toolbar so I’m not really sure what you are referring to there (at least, there’s no bottom toolbar in Firefox on Android where I’m using it), and the notification/battery area is definitely not part of Firefox. It sounds like your phone’s system UI is providing those elements, and it’s likely not really fair to blame problems with the system UI on Firefox.
