  • Yes, probably. That being said, I see two immediate consequences to this.

Hiring a hitman is illegal, so the president could still be prosecuted for this. Assuming the House/Senate aren’t complete morons, they would impeach and convict the president.

Once the hitman is pardoned, he would lose his 5th amendment protection. If his testimony couldn’t be used to convict him, then the court could compel testimony against anyone involved. Which would make unraveling the conspiracy slightly easier.

  • There’s already tons of folks that had “that idea” too early. Those technical innovations don’t just need some rando showing up and saying “hey, we should make a plastic disc that stores music MONEY PLEASE!”

The CD was created in collaboration between several companies, creating a technical standard, and working with the limitations of manufacturing and technology of the time. There’s exactly zero chance you would be able to get a jump on them.

I’d bet $3 that there’s tons of patents from people who had a similar enough idea years before it came out, but they never went anywhere. Sony would just see your patent and carefully design the disc to avoid violating it.

  • Cause you’re talking about reality. We’re not debating on if a movie was good, or if a sandwich is tasty, you’re literally saying that every single scientist in the whole world is conspiring to trick you into thinking something happened.

This isn’t an opinion, it’s a 100% absolute fact that humans have set foot on the moon.

The number of people who would have to be in on the conspiracy would be astronomical. You are wrong, and you are intentionally spreading misinformation. It would take you less than an afternoon to learn the truth, but you are going out of your way to remain ignorant.
