Ukraine isn’t really using DJIs as much (if any at all) as they are custom built FPV drones.
I switched to the Affinity suite today after almost 20 years of using Adobe products. After the trial I realized that I actually enjoyed the layout of the tools and the familiarity between photoshop and illustrator. Their InDesign alternative (Publisher 2) is pretty nice too. It really helps that they’re giving 50% off right now. (Smart marketing btw)
Only thing I’m struggling with finding a replacement for is after effects. I already made the switch to DaVinci for video so motion graphics is the only hole left to fill and then I’m free from Adobe.
I had heard about the petro-dollar exit but the new digital currency they want to implement is news to me. They have quite a few central banks are involved. I wonder what this will do to US finances?
True, cutaway locks aren’t needed. I recently heard of a neat idea where you can call around various storage businesses and ask if they have cut locks from people who lost their unit. It won’t be useful to lock anything but great for practice. Unfortunately the one near me throws theirs away regularly so I need to call around more to see what I can find.
Yup! Thats like the one I have from Sparrows. I got their Tuxedo Reloaded set and it comes with all sorts of driver pins and keys to setup yourself.
Lockpicking maybe? Just recently got into it as a bucket list hobbies but it’s actually really entertaining. They sell practice cutaway locks that fit easily in one hand as you fidget about with the lock picks.
Yup. We hit an R3 in space weather conditions over the past 24 hours which means radio comms were impacted.
Having the kind of habits you need to keep yourself safe and private online.
Blows my mind how many people don’t consider or sometimes even reject the idea of things like password managers because “it’s too complicated”.
On a similar note, one technique I use while lucid dreaming is to try to pass my right hands index finger through my left hands palm. If I feel and see the resistance to my skin, I know I’m awake.
I think it depends on the context and situation that leads to contact. Also probably matter what country the make contact with.
If they come here zapping things into dust then the maybe not so. If they come here peacefully wanting to help, I can see some laws put in place pretty quick to try to prevent interactions that could trigger a problem.
Hekate for sure. Goddess of magic, necromancy, the crossroads. Plus you get doggies to hang out with you all the time!
I might’ve came across it from a post here on Lemmy, but this website is great for music discovery. It lets you listen to music by decade and country via a neat map UI.
Oh god… just realized you’re that person from the Linux communities. I will carry on with my day.
Is your keyboard broken and replacing now for meow? And if you want to be an American, you work on getting citizenship and take an oath to the country. Just like many other countries. Citizenship is not something you identify with. And the only way be “semi-American” is with dual citizenship. It’s not something you identify as like genders.
It’s another thing to be a citizen of a country and not necessarily be proud of it sometimes. But that doesn’t make you semi-whatever.
Same thing I’m doing
This is really neat. Never heard of it till now. As both an artist and developer I always felt that a decentralized and federated option for audio was the future.
Not many other ways to make 1.1 million people really angry, on top of all else. Not everyone there is a terrorist, but they all have to pay the price for the actions of those whose are.
What a simple, great word to describe it.
Reminds me of the Fremen ambush during the sandstorm.
