But yuzu was running on the switch in that example. So it was beating the switch on contemporary hardware.

You have to make it pass safetynet. Iirc there’s some magisk modules that let you do that
it wasn’t faked, but it was very much a ship.of Theseus pregnancy test. They replaced the microcontroller with one they could program (it might have been the reprogrammable version of the same microcontroller. And the screen was replaced.
I’m going to make the argument from an Islamic standpoint mainly bc I am Muslim and have a background in it from both a religious and academic (it was one class at college but I learned a lot) side. Day of judgement is a thing, basically to get into heaven: pray to god, don’t be a shitty person.
That being said, you can see shit like terrorist attacks that would convince you otherwise. Terrorist attacks are basically “martyrdom” (read: fanaticism) where fighting for a religion would “theoretically” bring you in the good graces of the things you believe in. In reality, they just murdered people because they thought they deserved it and it would punish the people who are doing it when in reality it doesn’t work like that.
But the “don’t be a shitty person” is just an action, what’s the reasoning/intention behind it. Like you can do good things for society for a multitude of reasons, bc it is a good cause to contribute to society for, it will get you into heaven, fame, a diversion from something else etc. Religious people just have one extra reason to be a decent person.
You don’t have to follow religion to be a “decent” person and religion doesn’t automatically make you a “decent person”. I’ve met wonderful people who were both religious and not, and shitty people who were religious and not religious.
There’s a lot more to Islam that I don’t think I can unpack in a comment, and it’s tied to societal norms etc.
All I can really ask of anyone is don’t be a shitty person.
P sure it makes people more accountable based on what they do in their life. (provided they aren’t deluded to the point of doing horrific things for the sake of religion)

I’m in a flipped situation. My MVNO (confiner l consumer cellular) used t mobile and now they switched to ATT. My internet is faster (70 mbps speed test) but my service is less consistent. I’ll get full service in a subway tunnel but none at my house.
Somewhere in between. It doesn’t deserve to be shut down though.
Kinja blogs as a whole have been going down in quality ever since spanfeller took over. (I go on jalopnik and gizmodo a lot).
iirc the money storage aspect of PayPal has to be regulated as a bank.
This isn’t an ideological boycott, this is stuff I avoid bc it’s not great.
ATT (I get better cell service in a subway than I do in my house and I’m on it because my MVNO switched from T-Mobile to att) HP (worlds shittiest hinges) Comcast, Spectrum (parents have comcast, it sucks. My friends have Spectrum, it also sucks)
That’s fair. I run 125% scaling on 15.6 1080p display so I know exactly what you feel.
While I agree with you with the 16:10 display being nicer, in terms of size. 1280x800 isn’t bad once you take into consideration of screen size. Like the ppi for both displays are in the low 200s. A 1080p 15.6 in display has a lower ppi than both of those.
It’s probably what’s available without costing several kidneys.
Well yes but actually no
You can upgrade the RAM and storage on some of them. Installing either Linux or windows is also possible.
This article is missing Jamboard, mainly bc no one knew it existed.
This is an actual email I got today.
Toml is about the same as ini files at least with what I’ve worked with
I just trigger Siri manually but that’s what I ask every time. It fucks it up all the time. I even did the voice training thing.
I can never get Siri to set a timer. Idk why.
I’m also not surprised and I still find it amusing. The ISA translation is something I never actually thought about in emulation
