Tie your letter to a rock and trebuchet it at them, or whichever cloud they live in.
You dont even need 2 languages, just a bottle of whisky.
‘Loch Lochy’ in Scotland.

Yeah, for a tech support community, like the one linked in the related communities box.
What’s the point of all that toxic nonsense down the right hand side of the page ?
Yep; unless valid means open ended, thought provoking, ends with “?” and not support.
Struggled to find beer that I like in usa- I’ve not been there much though.
It’s increasingly hard here though (UK).
Shitty lager, or hipster-grapefruit-jizz or guiness is the normal choice in most pubs, and even in many so called “real ale” pubs, those of them still left. A decent pint of bitter is hen’s teeth these days. I guess fashions change and there’s no money in old style beers that I prefer. You can’t argue with the bottom line.
I find shitty lager in US is not as nice as shitty european lager - it just seems to have an odd taste - but it’s not what i want to drink… I guess german/czech lager is about as good as it gets, for lager/pils - but still not very flavourful.
Belgium is good, but not really for a session beer. It’s for a different type of drinking.

I reckon Earth probably can support an ant future for quite a bit longer than apes.
Or, their manufacturers also make some safer vehicles. It seems that all of Tesla’s vehicles are high up the list, so the whole manufacturer average is higher than all others. Wheras Hyundai, for example, must sell plenty of safer models that bring down its average.
oh yeah, “… at least one occupant fatality”.
The source dataset seems to have pedestrian/non-occupant fatalities, pretty shitty of tthem to go out of their way to exclude them.
They looked at fatal crashes only, which is presumably a very small share of all crashes. They also normalised to per mile driven using a sample of data they have - presumably some data on miles driven by car type.
Could be sketchy, could just be a much smaller sub-population.
… sufficiently random …
Since they just use the 8m for the normalisation it’d be interesting to know how sensitive the rankings are if they assumed some bias. Or maybe even just swap around some normalisation factors and see how robust the ranking is.
I guess they do have near complete data on the deaths, and pretty good data on the population of registered vehicles.
The whole symbiotic(parasitic) relationship between bank deregultion, estate agencies , “standard rental agreements” and planning process seems like a network of self reinforcing scam designed to push prices up instead off offer better value to consumers.
There seems to be no invisiblke hand of competetion doing aanything ti increate the amount of work, or bid down the prices. It is a dysfunctional market that seems to have been wantonly impaired by a nexus of self interest.
How do they if you dont plug them in to the network, do they have cellular, or some sort of PLC? Can they hack WPA? maybe they’re more powerful than i’d creditt them for.
Linux doesnt “force” chip makers. It tries to collaborate , that’s the point of what Linus has been saying and doing for several years. I don’t know which market you’re talking about though, embedded - which is relevant here, or consumer PC. I don’t even think MS gives a shit about consumer PC, it’s worth next to nothing to anyone - maybe apple does.
I’d think most people woud go for a cheap used ultra Small Form Factor pc or raspberry pi set up as an htpc. Plug in to either tv screen (via hdmi ) or monitor / projector directly. Never connect the tv to the internet - or even to your LAN if you’re really paranoid. You can arse around with a remote control a bit bodgy, or just use wireless Keyboard/mouse.
I cant imagine spending the time to jailbreak a tv to get less functionality for more hassle - but i’m sure some crazy will have done it - good luck finding them though.
I think he needs to work with HW manufacturers and chip designers/manufacturers to get drivers. They’re always going to have some proprietary HW and FW and communication protocols somewhere in their stuff. I think if he pisses them off too much he has to to bit-bash or reverse engineer all drivers for loads of stuff - which is never going to happen.
“. . . you’d better be prepared for the jump into hyperspace. It’s unpleasantly like being drunk.”
“Well what’s so unpleasant about being drunk?”
“You ask a glass of water.”
I’d be in the 9% that rated Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus 10 on imdb.
I had to buy the DVD a second time as someone stole my first one it is that good.
