Do as I say not as I do is power of no one stops you.
Do as I say not as I do is power of no one stops you.
What do you want people to say to you on the Internet that is owned and monitored by the same people doing this?
We gotta fight this. Can’t just leave.
Let’s be really honest about this. There are town meetings at least monthly. Political parties always have something going on. There’s no way Netflix originals, hawk tuah podcasts, and countless You-Tube channels about eating various chips and playing video games are capable of existing if no one has free time.
I can easily observe the vast majority of people with cars, money, and time choosing to sit at home doing nothing at all.
So little people show up to these things you actually can make a small impact locally.
Whatever the Fed is now is going to be an existential threat to many people if it isn’t already. Governors will start picking sides I think. The Illinois governor made a pretty bold statement today.
We have a surveillance state, though, and they control it and the narrative.
People will need to get it together fast.
You’re sure? I’ve had this hunch because, well, obviously, but I don’t know for sure.
Well Reddit started off with a bunch of sock puppet accounts to make the site look larger than it was. Now they have bots doing that so when you refresh Reddit it’s always new. Back when it was good there was a point where you’d just run out of Reddit. It was a meme. They figured out how to stop that feeling.
But that feeling is good! We will have to get used to the fact that real human sites don’t constantly update if we want nice things.
Lemmy was hard to use a year ago or so.
Right but… eventually Republicans would win and we’d be here regardless. That’s the worst part of it all.
I think him winning the first time screwed us all.
So if you get a bot companion… it’s perfect and it loves you unconditionally as much as a robot can but eventually you get bored and decide to upgrade… proving you were the shallow one all along.
Or maybe it proves no one actually believes that’s love which means they will never be truly fulfilled with a artificial replacement.
Teenagers aren’t stupid.
You sure? Even the president is stupid.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but a computer can’t love you. Get a cat or dog.
So, and I’m not at all arguing for them here let me be clear, but things like Reddit being dragged in the media for that jailbait subreddit and the Covid stuff causing lawmakers to basically say “hey if you keep allowing disinformation we are going to have to regulate it” is what they mean by leftist bias.
I was reading yarvins bs the other day and that basically sums up the thinking.
