Back when there were “mom and pop” AirBnb, maybe this was a bad thing. Now, a huge number of rentals are owned by companies with big portfolios specializing in short term rentals.
It’s become a really big problem in certain cities.
I don’t see this as a bad thing.
This could be a good thing. The monopoly Microsoft and the x86 architecture have had on computing has hampered new development for decades.
China is experimenting with different architectures and open source OS’s. It’ll be very interesting to see where this leads.
I’m old and still call the remote “the clicker”. My 7 year old wondered what the heck a clicker is.
Cue old dad “back in my day, the remotes actually clicked” story.
The investors were the kind of people that don’t want the kind of on the ground, quick fact reporting that happened during uprisings and the like.
It can’t be a coincidence. They’re tanking the most popular tool for getting quick communication out.
Poor development! If something can be done, people will do it.
Best way is to not allow it and provide no feedback.
