I’m not informed enough on the specifics of why those two countries are/were against Sweden joining, so I can’t speak to that, but every member of the alliance has to approve new members, which is why anyone gives a shit what they think or want. That is absolutely not true. The engine runs the oil pump, so the pump is working as long as the engine is spinning, assuming the pump is not faulty, of course. I’m not aware of any car engine ever built where that isn’t true.

That being said, idling your (modern) car for longer than a minute, or as long as necessary to defrost the windows in the winter, is a waste of fuel and, consequently, emissions. It’s also an unnecessary wear on mechanical parts, but not because the engine is cold or hot, but simply because it’s in use.

Thermal imaging will definitely help spot those dirty walkers so I won’t miss as many. Those bastards can blend in sometimes and some of them are deceptively quick. What may not be as clear as it could be in this thread is that the referendum was for whether or not Catalonia should secede from Spain. Also, a community driven project, like SponsorBlock, where users identify ads to build up a database could be created.

These are just a couple of ideas to defeat embedded ads, and I’m not a genius programmer by any means. This is just another front in a war that has been going on since at least the 90’s and as long as blocking ads is less annoying than watching them, we’re winning.
