It makes me want to mock the EU considering how much, deserved, shit the US gets. But this is just depressing. I would much prefer the US to be mocked as we get our shit, hopefully, together. Not fucking join us.

That would give apple a monopoly in the mobile space and Microsoft a monopoly in the search/business app space.
Not even that, the iPhone SE is $430 and is the closest phone they’re claiming to want but then going for the top of the line phone instead.
Damn lmao
You know I didn’t know the US had a billion people. lol at least that’s what you’d think from all shit talkers online that all obese people are from the US.
I got this at the start of the pandemic and it has worked out perfect for me. I would have gone for a normal Herman miller but there’s not much of used market in my location and I’m not paying HM prices.
Some places have preemptively outlawed doing this.
I nearly have 2000 hours in rocket league. I’m not good and it’s one of the reasons I don’t play anymore lol
I was paying for a year at a pop. After the price hike, I was going to cancel entirely. It just happened to coincide with the shitty Disney/hulu ad price. Which got my kids off my back for not having it and it’s only like 36 bucks for the year. If I feel inclined to watch something on those two then I watch on desktop and ad block the ads.
I do get sub 1000 view recommendations from YouTube but I don’t know if I would assume those creators haven’t paid any money. You can pay to push your videos to a small, very targeted, audience for fairly cheap.
There’s still plenty of people doing that. But their uploads will be inconsistent when they upload and quality. The views will also be low so YouTube’s algorithm won’t recommend it unless they pay to advertise.
I had never fully lost smell or taste just kind of dulled it. However the brain fog is what killed me. It’s been 3 years and I’m just starting to feel a little better. lol or maybe I’m just more used to it.
Anyone who is interested in a foldable. Check eBay or Swappa. I was really surprised to find them 2nd hand for like 600-800. Which is crazy considering how much they sell for new.
I appreciate the recommendation and listing them out! That is actually helpful as I don’t like searching up which book is next.
I am and that’s why I read the books. I do need to get better about going into particular communities to help drive their growth.
Great recommendations. I want to read the foundation series, I’m enjoying the show, but the wait time on Libby is really long. Michael Crichton is one of my favorite authors. I do need to read some of Clarke’s books but it almost suffers from “classical” must read avoidance I have lol
After Reddit shut off 3rd party apps, I came here and resolved to read more. In the previous decade I had read maybe 2 books. I think your resolution is achievable but i would make it ridiculously achievable of reading like 1 min a day.
The habit of reading is what you want and the books will come after that and chances are you will read much longer. Don’t read anything you “should” be reading. Get a “popcorn flick” equivalent that you interests you and isn’t challenging.
Here is what I have read since June.

I’ve said this before but as soon as Valve becomes a public company, immediately start protesting and sailing.
I agree that they are a waste for most people. I have friends that have used theirs near daily going on 20 years.
Truly heartbreaking
