This might go some ways to explaining why I’ve never known a woman who liked buying or wearing bras. I’m comfortable blaming the patriarchy, which can absolutely get fucked.

People are terrible. They judge you no matter what you do. I’m ready to go live in the woods. At least wolves only kill you because they’re hungry.
I may be the wrong person to ask right now haha.
Ahhh I think I recognize that. It was used by the Star Trek TTRPG as well. I didn’t realize it had a standalone version.
The game I’m thinking of focused more on 1-on-1 fights, and it was set in the Star Trek II/III movie era.
Did each player get sort of an octagonal board with the starship in the center used to track ship orientation and shield strength?
Descent 2 earthshaker multiplayer was my jam. Went through so many joystick hats!
Loved Lode Runner! Broderbund Software, right? I think they also made Choplifter.
There was this officially licensed Star Trek tabletop starship battle game that I got to play a couple times in the eighties and no one seems to remember it but me. Wish I could find a copy. I remember it being a blast.
I could rattle off a whole list of TRS-80 Model I/III or Apple ][ games that no one has ever heard of, but I’ll spare you.
Fermented you say. How does that impact the flavor?
What’s your favorite? I really like The Reanimator from justcoffee.coop. ❤️
I’ve dabbled with Death Wish but I’m not as young as I used to be. Afraid it’ll make my heart pop. 😆
Coffee is my favorite tea. 😆
Sadly, just can’t stand the stuff anymore. Grew up having sweetened iced tea for dinner every night. My wife always keeps different varieties on hand and I’ve occasionally tried different combinations of hot and sweet and milky. For my money, nothing touches a cup of joe. Give it to me black and bitter, like Dick Cheney’s original heart.
I’d make it unlawful for any entity including the U.S. gov’t to profit from the suffering of others. This would, of course, immediately crash the economy. Suffering is our leading export.
For me, I think it will. Love my moto.
Had mixed results on Samsung Z Flip 4. One had the inner screen die right after the warranty was up. Other is still going strong, though the permanent screen protector has separated at the hinge.
Coincidentally watched The Man Who Would Be King for the first time last night. 😆
Still trying to decide if Huston (or Kipling for that matter) intended the anti-colonialism or if that’s just my reading.
Did you read the article? Biden made many of Trump’s tarrifs permanent and Harris, while critical of Trump’s tarrifs, hasn’t put forth her own plan or disowned the Biden strategy.
Edit: Fucksake, Lemmy. It says this in the article. I said nothing positive or negative about either candidate or their positions on tarrifs. 😆
Not embarrassing or thrilling, but way back when I still ate meat, I’m pretty sure Waffle House tried to kill me with a bad batch of Bert’s chili. At least, that was the featured odor/flavor in all my bodily effluvium (which was copious!) in the several succeeding days. I didn’t die but I do remember wishing I was dead. The experience turned me into a Waffle House skeptic and shortly thereafter, a vegetarian.

I agree that this is a really important job. The wife and I usually enable subtitles on English content (our first language) any time accents are involved. Watched Shakespeare & Hathaway on BritBox recently and the English subs were glorious. They used a different background color for each character which I found extremely helpful, and the accuracy was quite good.
Sadly this is not universally true for Britbox content. Hartnell-era Doctor Who seems to be based on the scripts as it occasionally deviates significantly from the lines as delivered.
Father Brown is sort of middling and appears to be auto-generated in that the subs are mostly right but any errors are obviously homophonic and would have been caught with human review.
I guess “abide” (to bear patiently) and “endure” (to remain firm under suffering or misfortune without yielding) would both work, though neither has an inherent notion of time.
We finally dropped them after this bullshit. Also Loki S2 was bad.
