I’ve gotten offered a job on the first interview and I worked there for a while. Then again, that was not in my field of IT and was a part-time job with a well-known company, alongside studies. So while it can be a red flag, it’s not always. Depends on the situation. Just stay vigilant.
I mean, there are cases of victims being directly told by store employees that they can’t sell the cards because it’s a scam, and them getting right back on the phone with the scammer and going to another store instead.
I was going to say this, too, but I was too lazy to fact check so I left it out. c: In other words, I’ve heard about this too.
How they are not completely mortified by that, I will never know.
I once heard a claim that they just can’t smell it themselves. I can believe it, because our senses tend to filter out sensations that are continuous.
I don’t use any Meta products and I’ve deleted any accounts I had on them. This includes the ones mentioned, Oculus (I have the CV1 headset but wouldn’t be able to use it that easily anyway due to switching to Linux) and WhatsApp.
To think humans cause such pain to other sentient beings due to hubris…
I’ve been getting back into the groove of making artwork, which is all nice. My goal is to start a webcomic this year. c:
In other domains, what started out as a joke is becoming a full mod for Terraria: One that adds more cactus weapons apart from the basic cactus sword. :D I’ve never made mods for Terraria so it’s a simultaneous learning process.
I also narrow my eyes whenever I see the word “family” now.
Thanks. Did you know your username is the 2517th guy named Brett with megalencephaly?
I’d scream “oh no!” so the wicked fairy wouldn’t figure out it’s fun for me and change their mind, and then I’d just chill with my dog or cat life. If I could be taken care of by a trusted person or people, that would be great.
I’ve had a field day while writing my thesis recently, realising I could bypass the paywalls by accessing the papers through the university proxy. It’s still bs, though, because it leaves this stuff only accessible to researchers and not your regular people who may be interested.
Though like PrinceWith999Enemies said, many paper writers will happily send you a copy if you email them about it.
That’s absolutely hilarious! The ways they learn to screw with each other, with and without glitches. xD
Mostly mobile using Eternity. Sometimes on PC through browser.
I didn’t think I was a stereotype until I saw this. Yes, my bunny sona is both. :D
They push the vaccine through your skin with 5G!
I guess I passively knew about furries ever since I attended an anime con that had a few attending. 2013, I think? Five years later I joined a furry community on Discord with a friend as a joke, made friends, was peer pressured into designing and drawing myself a fursona because those friends wanted to draw art for me, and now I’m a proud degenerate. 😁👍
I ended up just disabling the alias I use to receive emails from LinkedIn. Since I noticed I just kept deleting those emails without ever reading them, I figured I’d just opt to not receive any emails. :D
Non-professional artist here with a few commissions under her belt. I’ll answer from that POV.
In conclusion, it’s a market with a lot of options for clients. I recommend, for any budding artists, to not think of art as a source of income first and foremost and just doing it because you love to create. If you can make some money or even your income from it eventually, that’s definitely an added bonus. c:
I don’t hide the fact at all. Heck, I openly share the artwork I create with non-furry peers. I’ve never had a bad reaction so I don’t have any reservations regarding it.
