Think about it longer term… All the people struggling at the bottom now have secure housing. More money is free for nutrition, hygiene, they can get better jobs or afford schooling… Trades or higher education. More people have a chance to escape poverty and contribute production, get more money to spend, more money gets out into local economies. So and so forth. It’s a good idea.
Oh no.
I’m sincerely appreciative of everything they do for consumers as a whole. Not everything makes it across the pond but at the very least it sets precedent and a lot of the groundwork is done if our politicians ever decide to get their shit together and give us a ground to stand on against corporations and lobbyists.
A guy can dream.
Surprised pikachu
Yo tambien por favor, ¿donde estas la cicharrones?
Also… in this economy?
Same.

Just sharing my experience here as well. I bought a Dell gaming monitor - it was a TN panel with gsync and 144hz it was quite expensive at the time.
Anyway, that piece of shit was replaced 5x under warranty. Faulty panel, backlight dying, lots of issues with input ports, broke firmware, etc. their warranty and service was top notch, but that was a lot to go through with a $500 piece of equipment. I bought an LG after that one died and have had 0 issues.
So brave, so helpful.
Unrelated but alt+e+s+v is so ingrained into my muscle memory. I should really get a macro pad
My chief complaint is performance. Some of the saas we use has some complex renders and edge really struggles with it. Works perfect in Firefox though ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I live in a shitty neighborhood. The amount of Audi, bmw, Porsche SUVs is crazy.
Was anyone else here brave enough to shit without a stall door? I had so much anxiety as a kid, but when u gotta go u gotta go.
Some kids tried to bully me and I was just like… I’m taking a shit, we all do it so fuck off. Still nerve wracking tho
Have you ever talked to her about it? Are you a supervisor or any sort even if she’s not a direct report?
This is minor, but if it bothers you and distracts you from your work I’d say address it as feedback - “Hey, I’m usually pretty busy when you come in. You seemed upset that I don’t get a chance to stop and properly greet you, but I’m focused on work at that time, let’s catch up on a break/lunch”
I used to let so many of these little things go because it wasn’t worth it but little things add up and can make the workplace miserable. I’ve found people are pretty understanding and I started being more assertive about distractions and my work life has improved a lot. I’m ADHD and getting derailed kills my productivity. People eating at their desks, approaching me the moment they need something, asking questions when the answers are available on SharePoint, etc.
Yeah loss of human life and serious injuries are heartbreaking, but to me it’s equally as saddening to see animals get caught up in human bullshit. Donkey was just doing his job pulling a cart. Animals are so defenseless.
Fucking brutal way to go, rest in peace.
Uh oh
That’s something, lol. I’m not irreplaceable but it would be an absolute clusterfuck if I left, at least for a while.
I do a good job of documenting everything but so much of my work relies on scripts that I wrote and never properly deployed - a mix of python and VBA, and all my reporting relies on an API connection that nobody else maintains and other than a handful of queries I shared, nobody really knows how to use it.
I’m not trying to be shitty but it’s job security.
