A New Zealand team has taken home gold at the Cheerleading World Championships in the US.
The 23-member All Star Cheerleaders Academy All Girl team is the first Kiwi team to win at the competition, which saw more than 550 teams from 21 countries compete.
Holy crap, really? That’s great - good on them!
The more I read into this, the more I’m not sure what exactly they won. There are lots of divisions, did they win their division or is there an overall place? Which division did they compete in?

Thing is, they’re still kicking ass on an international level and that’s pretty amazing.
