Israel has struck Iran in a "targeted and precise" attack in retaliation for Iranian attacks on Israel earlier this month, the country's military has said, announcing that the strikes have concluded.
I mean it’s early to tell, but so far it is reported that those were precise attacks towards military targets. So if that’s true, that would explain that attitude from ordinary Iranians.
Islamic regime killed and tortured many civilians during the multiple peaceful protests. They’re unbelievably sadistic and evil. So when civilians aren’t involved its just a fight between two dictators
I swear Lemmy is turning anti-semitist. Clearly Israel is the good guys in this Israel vs Iran conflict and yet anything that suggests this is being down voted to hell. Isn’t that crazy?
Iran is rules by a purely evil Islamic State regime and somehow it’s not OK to enjoy their down fall?
Frankly, I’m tired of every reddit alternative being captured by these extremist bafoons.
Yeah, not considering Israel as “clearly the good guys” while they commit genocide is antisemitism.
I know this might be difficult for some people, but it is absolutely possible to be critical of both sides in a conflict. It is also possible to see it as good that Iran is containing Israel from implementing its greater Israel dreams, annexing most of the Westasia region, while condemning Irans repression against its people and the violent influence expansion targeting non Shias in Iraq and Syria.
But of course Israel and its allies try to paint things in “good” vs. “evil”. This way there needs to be no condemnation of the actions of the “good guys”, no matter how blatant crimes they are and there needs to be no consideration of the motivations of the “evil guys”, no matter how legitimate their interests are.
This is seriously one of the best takes I’ve seen on this situation. Most people seem to get hung up on this idea of there always being a “hero” and “villain”. Not every situation has a hero.

Seems like we’re in agreement here but somehow Lemmy even when Israel is put against Iran which is straight up a comic book evil level regime Israel are the bad guys?
This logic that “X is bad and they can’t do any good things and are always in the wrong” is bigotry and prejudice i.e. anti-semitism. You can say Israel is evil and agree that Israel is in the right in this particular conflict, those two things don’t cancel each other out.

I’m anti-zionist, any ideology that claims someone else’s home isn’t great.
I love how at every turn the ziobots all trot out the same rhetoric.
Reddit is fully captured by ziobots. Just look at worldnews. And they’re here too now.
