I sprained my ankle a few years ago and was impatient. The ball of my ankle still has not fully returned like it used to or how it is on my other ankle and I sometimes can feel it moving in odd ways. About a year later, I jumped from a small ledge in my backyard and the intense pain returned as if I had sprained it again. I may have, I’m not sure.
But it was because I kept walking on it instead of using the crutches and keeping it up as much as possible.
It sucks not to be able to use your limbs, but it’s temporary if you let the healing process take its course.
I mean like i never really had such a vivid appreciation for being ablebodied. I have to use a rolling tupperware container as a walker and hop one one foot just to take a whiz 😭 And im hella grateful i even contrived that together. I have an office chair but its hopelessly tucked away behind my desk
1 or 2 months would be my guess
I will never take my ablebodiedness for granted again after this. Freaking sucks 😭
Go easy on it and don’t rush the healing process.

Will do, got nothing but time
Did you invite this in ?
Huh?
Like did you stupidly cause it ?
No, just regular walking. I took a shortcut but it shouldnt have been objectively any unsafer
Sometimes, ankles just roll.
Huh i asked because you said you wouldn’t take your body for granted but i guess i misinterepted it.

Maybe get a walking stick ? I think they are relatively cheaper and will pay off seeing as you would neet it for atleast a month .
