  • I’ve never heard of a frozen keyboard. That is definitely not an issue to worry about every single time anyway.

Plus when it works you need a second press to turn it back off before entering the password. Way too much work.

I usually use the up key as that is one of the few buttons I know of that will open the password field (I’m assuming down also works, but I haven’t tried many others). I usually turn my monitor off (can’t just leave it on as it’s in my room and if a cat moves their ear too quickly that will wake up the screen and I can’t have that while I’m comfortable in bed) at night, so the first time I use it in a day I will turn it on, smack the up arrow and the login screen is gone before the screen turns on all the way. Which is a little sad I don’t get to see it much since I did pick out a theme and background for it, but can’t be helped.

  • Halo 1 was the first game I ever played online. I played a lot of it.

But I was a very different person then, and replaying it now reminds me of how stupid I was (because I got into a clan that was very based on that kind of person) and the internal ick just his a fever pitch and ruined the game for me.

I never played 2 since that was on Vista and I never went back to it after finally getting Win 7.

After that the series just felt tainted to me. When I first tried it on a console it was really weird with the control setup. I was very used to hundreds of hours on Perfect Dark with the default controls. Having a second stick and rearranging what hand controlled what bent my mind in knots for a while. But it ended up making more sense that way (as you can easily tell by how much it caught on- not saying Halo pioneered it, but it was my first experience with it).

  • I’m just now reviewing ancient comments and replies of mine. If you haven’t found out already, think of a site that’s similar to Facebook, but instead of making “friends” as the big draw, it’s all about your neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. So it’s filled with people asking about where to find “cheap reliable (insert service here like landscaping, drywalling, etc)”, suspicious people seen around the place which another commenter mentioned, so given the very white, very Karen-like audience is probably just a notice that some racial minority person was here. Like I mentioned, lost pets are a common post, there was recent 2 different companies going around digging fiber lines for Internet service, and then the predictable “has anyone switched, how do you like it?” type posts that follow.

A lot of these people don’t know each other, so their only common ground seems, at least where I am, to be mostly just where they physically live, and the fact that they all love Trump.
