    How can you even know of we’re in a simulation? We might be a Boltzmann brain, the universe may have popped into existence just now with all our memories of it existing previously, Descartes’ ‘evil demon’ may be deceiving us, we really have no way of knowing.

    One minute, you’re the savior of the rebel cause; next thing you know, you’ll be Cohaagen’s bosom buddy. You’ll even have fantasies about alien civilizations as you requested; but in the end, back on Earth, you’ll be lobotomized!

    Remember that Elon endorsed the simulation theory on Joe Rogan. He may have done it for entertainment. Or he might be an idiot. With all his other decisions lately, I’ll just let you consider who sides with it.

      He was once asked what the first question he would ask a fully conscious AI. After about 3 minutes of silence, he said, “what’s on the other side of the simulation?”

      Sure, it sounds like a smart question. Incredibly deep even. Only one problem: the AI is trapped in the same layer of reality we are.
