If you’re on Windows then the AAA games typically work better with Nvidia drivers and cards. If you’re on Linux then plasma has some issues with Nvidia, and AMD is probably a better choice.
I’ve used an Nvidia card since I started my build some 12 years ago and it’s never done me wrong. I’m also a windows user and I do in fact do work using cuda so it’s just what I’m used to
I’m going to be running into enough money to fully upgrade my system. I’m looking forward to 32 gb ddr5, an i7-14700, and a 4080! I’m so excited!
Why an nvidia card? Amd is generally better value.
(Unless you do work with cuda or whatever, in that case nevermind)
