Man I’m really not a fan of this post covid remilitarization. I’d really like it if my kids aren’t drafted into a war with China, Russia, and Iran for the future of a rapidly less habitable planet.
It’s OK. In about 40 years, the Vulcans will come and save us. Bad news: it’s gonna get a whole lot worse first. 
Yah that’s always the bittersweet thing about the future Trek shows. We eventually get a utopia(ish), but first we have to go through World War 3
Just ride it out in Bozeman, Montana and hope for the best.
