Summary

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Donald Trump of living in a “Russian-made disinformation space” due to his administration’s talks with Kremlin officials.

He urged Trump’s team to be “more truthful” after Trump blamed Kyiv for the war and downplayed U.S. aid contributions.

Zelenskyy’s remarks came as U.S. envoy Keith Kellogg visited Kyiv amid shifting U.S. policy on Russia. Meanwhile, European leaders, feeling sidelined by U.S.-Russia talks, held emergency meetings.

Zelenskyy canceled a Saudi Arabia trip in protest.

It’s the same false reality bubble that got Putin to think he could take Ukraine in 3 days, Same one that made Britain dipshits think Brexit was going to be a golden age and it was the opposite, and now Trump and his republican dumbfucks are under the same illusion that rewinding the clock to the late 1800s and trying to force this country to be a christian kingdom of conformity and idiocy will be a good thing long term and not spell the end of this place allowing China to finalize their technological power takeover and become the new pinnacle of influence on the planet. Wouldn’t be surprised if all of these very priceless high level intel all roots from China.

Why China? Why not the billionaires in each of their own countries? The “Dark Gothic MAGA” doc is not just eye opening to what could be going on in the US, but for other countries under influence by a wealthy elite as well. I think China are able to quash these shadow movements since they maintain a large controller of their industrial sectors while also operating in the shadows. Because they have this control, I can see why we use them as a scapegoat. However, the ones with the most influence, the most accessibility, and the most to gain in the short term are the heads of industry. With the technological advancements of recent decades, those heads of industry can be found to be influencing the very means by which the people and therefore world leaders make decisions

He urged Trump’s team to be “more truthful”

Trump responded by calling Zelensky a “dictator without elections”, and suggested his ratings were low.

(for those curious: the Ukrainian law constitution prohibits electing a president during war, it’s especially hard with 20% of the country under hostile control; and regarding Zelensky’s rating, it’s about 57% 70% currently)

After that, some Republicans with a spine (Mike Pence, Don Bacon, Thom Tillis, Mike Rounds, John Kennedy, et al) also called out Trump to be more truthful.

If Elon is true to his word, he now has to give 100 M to politicians who oppose those Republicans in primaries. Because he threatened to beat anyone who badmouths his boss with his wallet.

A lot of Ukrainians have also fled the country, it makes no sense to organize this before ending the war. Why do we have to have this discussion? They are at war, marshal law is common during times of war to keep your country unified during these periods. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have vast oceans between them and their adversaries to allow for elections of their highest office to continue uninterrupted.

Because this isn’t about fair elections, it’s about getting a puppet government in charge who will just end the war freely by bending over for Russia. As if Putin and Trump actually care about fair elections… absolute clown show.

Right, and the puppet in charge will be rather obvious. The only other candidate that would win in a fair Ukrainian election is even more aggressive about opposing Russia than Zelenskyy, but since this is going to be rigged neither of those will win.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martial_law_in_Ukraine “The Constitution of Ukraine allows for some specific restrictions on rights and freedoms when the state of martial law is in effect.[10] The Constitution explicitly extends the five-year authority of the Verkhovna Rada (the national parliament of Ukraine) in the state of martial law until the first meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the next parliamentary term, elected after the cancellation of the state of martial law.[11] Scholars have stated that the Ukrainian constitution does not hold national elections while martial law is in effect.[12] The 2023 Ukrainian parliamentary election were not held and the 2024 Ukrainian presidential election also did not take place on its scheduled date of 31 March 2024.[13][12]”

Yes, let’s clear that up - it was a law, not the constitution.

Constitution, article 83(4) - extends the Parliament’s powers until martial law is over. Also allows for the possibility of martial law, says that under martial law, some rights may be restricted.

Ordinary law, “On the Legal Regime of Martial Law” - forbids elections during martial law.

So, holding elections in Ukraine during war is merely illegal. And I repeat - with 20% of the country occupied, and millions in emigration, very hard. If you hold a public meeting with your voters and a ballistic missile arrives, then what?

But since you consider them “banderite coup defenders”, you clearly take your clues from Moscow-based sources - why concern yourself with technicalities in law? The Kremlin does not concern itself with law, international, Ukraininan or Russian for that matter - it does what it wants. And you’re verbally supporting that.

      LOL nothing but lies
it has ‘grown’ to 57% and this from their own biased sources
      https://kyivindependent.com/ukrainians-trust-in-zelensky-increases-to-57-survey-shows/

Another lie is that the constitution forbids elections:

Ukraine’s Constitution does not explicitly address the issue of wartime elections, except for Article 83(4) that provides for the extension of the Parliament’s powers until the day of the first meeting of the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (the Ukrainian Parliament), elected after the termination of martial law or state of emergency.

      https://verfassungsblog.de/ukraines-constitution-in-wartime/

And really, it’s not hard to hold an election.
Russia is not israel, they don’t attack civilians (despite what similar liars to yourself will claim) and civilian infrastructure and life goes on.
Perfectly fine to hold elections. The 20% is ethnic Russian and no longer ukraine, they wouldn’t vote for him or the fascist Banderites that attacked them anyway.
Who knows, maybe the Americans can have another Nuland-Pyatt call and choose a president for them.
That worked out fine didn’t it?

Russia is not israel, they don’t attack civilians (despite what similar liars to yourself will claim) and civilian infrastructure and life goes on.

"As of 31 August, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) had verified that conflict-related violence had killed 11,743 civilians and injured 24,614 in Ukraine since 24 February 2022.

During the reporting period, Russian armed forces continued to target energy infrastructure across Ukraine, affecting essential services and deepening concerns about the plight of the civilian population with winter approaching."

Honesty seems to be a problematic concept for the people supporting the Russian invasion of Ukraine…

Also, I am surprised you even pretend to care about constitutions considering Putin had to rewrite Russias to stay in power past 2024.

Oh yes, only the Rada was mentioned in the constitution. The president was mentioned in an ordinary law. As the blog you linked explains:

As discussed elsewhere, the prohibition of wartime elections is established in Ukraine’s statutory law. Nothing similar is made with respect to the president. According to one of the drafters of the Constitution, this special treatment of Parliament was originally aimed to enhance Parliament’s standing in the constellation of powers and prevent possible abuses during wartime or national emergency.

Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Regime of Martial Law” (2015) prohibits the holding of elections during martial law and the Electoral Code of Ukraine (2019) ordains suspension of all elections during such period.

Also the reason why Saudis funded it. They want a piece of the post truth pie. But why did Elon even bother with the Saudi money? Is it as simple as wanting to keep the high score?

I suspect it was planned out. He “jokingly” says he wanted to buy twitter. Courts say it was a legitimate offer and he has to go through with it. He protested for a moment then says oh well, ya got me. Commence purges that likely had to do with political beliefs, then here we are, buying the president of the USA for 1/176th the price of twitter. I’m just rambling here but where’s the missing piece? Or is it just that cut and dry?

Same thought came to mind two days ago. In retrospect, that Twitter purchase appears so excellent as to make the attempted backtracking look contrived and intentional.

But there are other possible explanations. Maybe he jumped the gun before his planning partners had agreed to.

And I’m reminded there doesn’t need to be any conspiracy here because I can’t think of what would have been different if the purchase were announced as a one intended to influence politics.

Ppl don’t get it. They yell ‘give all his money to us’ but then the stock market crashes when billions of ‘dollars’ are pulled out of the system. I think he was reported to have sold stocks pre-twitter sales but he didn’t have the cash up front. He probably takes no salary and just pulls from company profits into an estate fund like it’s his bank account so most of his wealth is in his companies. Twitter has turned into the red pill space we would expect of America and not the Saudis prolly because Saudis put in 1/44th of the money it took to buy Twitter. There are millions of other multi millionaires, investment groups, etc he could much more money from.

He isn’t, he is still polite to give Donnie a benefit of a doubt, like he is speaking like that because he’s got malinformed. No, Trump uses his position to exchange Ukraine and the security of Europe for whatever he was promised or he himself promised beforehand for his success in pres campaign previosly, so he just closes his debts. Zelensky couldn’t say that to Trump all other countries and his own nation are paper tokens he uses to play monopoly with his friends. Ukrainian defence depend too deeply on what Biden’s given them before so as a diplomat he doesn’t want to cross out the US even though he knows that with Trump they’d hardly get anything. And it’s not about the US specifically, it’s a standard that keeps every other donor comfortable to donate arms and money, setting the climate in which no random and immidiate decisions pass, unlike what Trump does.

Yah, Zelensky has blood on his hands. He’s responsible for a large majority of Ukrainian deaths, as Putin is responsible for Russian deaths. It’s Zelensky that has decided it’s ‘fight till death or NATO saves us’ while refusing to find other solutions. I feel nauseous when people call him a hero. He’s a power hungry ‘nice guy’ who is more interested in fame and wealth than saving Ukrainian lives.

Right… remind me who started this “3 day special military operation”? It was Zelenskyy right? Oh wait no it wasn’t. They only other solution was let russia take over all of Ukraine. Why are you defending putin? All those dead Ukrainians are his fault.

Is American supposed to mean anything when the Republicans are indoctrinated into Russian disinformation and salivating over a Putin 2.0?

American might as well mean Russian shill, and is being a woman supposed to mean anything? What does you gender have to do with your political affiliations.

Since you want to attack me instead of investigate, I’ll tell you why I mentioned gender. Sexiest commenters assumed I was a man so I corrected them to break a bias that only men would say what I say.

No more no less. And to this point you have still not defended your possession in any way shape or form. Simply playing off imagined sexism and bigotry pretending to be the victim. Just like you’re pretending that Ukrainian isn’t.

Is it my responsibility, yes. He didn’t ‘start a war’ but for Ukrainians, he’s the one responsible for resolving the issue.

Conservatives are fundamentally against financial risks, and the crypto industry is financially risky. The crypto industry has been liberal/blue from the start and still is. Conservatives aren’t talking about it because the average crypto holder is not a republican. I can tell you’re the type to say things like ‘it’s the republicans fault’ that Biden approved $400 off armored teslas.

Funny how all the Crypto bros fell in line with Maga when they were so liberal and blue and so many of the Billionaire backers of the repulican party are also into crypto. Also funny how we now have our first Crypto tzar under republican Trump.

Biden asked for companies to make a bid on EV armoured cars, Tesla was the only bidder and it was not concluded when Biden left office.

Most people are cowards. Many live in survival mode. Wealth makes lives so much better that most people have a sell out price. It’s better to expect that others will sell out to wealth than old and altruistic idea that humans ‘shouldn’t’ have a sell out price. It’s personal morals, kind of like only fans. Some people think it’s really bad, some think it’s great. Overall, we allow it to happen because that’s human tendency.

Conservatives don’t follow that one, and repeatedly vote for people who cannot manage an economy at all.

If I tell you one of my core principles is that all life is sacred, and then I go out hunting, start a couple wars and in general kill a ton of people and animals, me telling you about my core principles is just lying.

Conservatives reliably cannot manage an economy, in fact the US has voted someone in who can’t even run a fucking casino. Conservatives are not the side of good economics, no matter how often they lie saying they are.

Buddy, decide if you want to push your propaganda or if you want to believe in reality. But stop playing this role of denying facts and history to serve your agenda. You could open your eyes and see a self proclaimed conservative president reducing the federal debt because conservatives are fiscally reserved, or you can choose to stay misinformed but you can’t rationalize this ‘conservatives are everything bad in the world so they are both over and under spenders’ mentality.

that is not true one bit, alot of republicans, conservative buy into crypto alot they take alot more risks. someone youtubers bought into cryptos during the SBF crash that someone peddled to them on the channel, and they all love trump, when it crashed they all lost a ton of money 1million+each, none of them were so-called liberals. they take alot more risks than you think. also studies have shown that conservatives fall for scams much easier than democrats. i think you are just pulling things out of your behind.

You don’t think crypto was started in the most liberal city in America, San Francisco? You don’t think a majority of the crypto companies are owned by people from culturally liberal places from culturally liberal schools from elite families? I’m not trying to explain but, conservatives are into banking and insurance. Tech is history risky and a core part of conservatism is avoiding fiscal risk. I don’t know about the Trump coin. I quit Avalanche and went to the DOE in 2021 and avoided the space since.

Idk you can tell me? Probably young investors who don’t remember a time before crypto. Young ppl have historically been more ‘left liberal.’ Historically, crypto grew in Americas most liberal cities, hence why crypto is historically associated with democrats. Hence why red states like Montana creating crypto friendly legislation seem so ‘progressive.’ No one uses the word progressive to describe republicans.

Most people in crypto are drawn to it the same way people are to gambling apps. Politics means shit and it’s just full of people chasing after get rich quick scheme and fixating the price and trying to convince people to keep buying so they can offload their bag. Who the hell plays up crypto like it’s some liberal stance when it’s been mainstream for years.

lol ‘don’t understand.’ Our society Rob, so many people of their own personal authority that everyone is so desperate to grass an opportunity to feel better or higher than someone else. Here you are thinking that I can’t bother to assume the people who are going to financially support a political leader would be the supporters. That level of intelligence would be a mental disability, putting me into protected person’s category and you making fun of it would be you making fun of the disabled. I’m clearly not that mentally disabled so it’s just you grasping at your opportunity to feel better than someone else because you have to spend so much of your life being a cuck to society or the system. We all have to spend our lives being cucks. That’s why Luigi did it. M

Look it’s back with another banger!
Did it take you a whole day to come up with this very original beauty?
Jeez are you trying to kill me with cringe and boredom?

Stop. this platform hasn’t been around long enough for bots. You’re just being a bully for no reason but to be mean. It’s a waste of your time and energy.

Almost as much of a waste of time as creating alt accounts solely to defend Russian geopolitics?

Honestly, what is the point of pretending to be a leftist while defending the Russian oligarchs? I get critical of the American oligarchs, but what is the point of cheerleading an even more hierarchical and violent form of capitalist imperialism?

Trump and Musk literally got regular phone mentoring on how to do what they’re doing (shape and install an official Oligarchy). You don’t need to create an information space when the participants are willingly taking direct lessons and coaching from Putin.

That you cheerlead worst of the wealthy. And then disingenuously say that like it wipes away everything else you’ve done. People can clearly see you’re disingenuous.

Do I? Can you show me where I ‘cheerleaded the wealthy?’

Genuinely, I’m waiting. I assume you are bigoted and you are assuming my opinions, or that you have misconstrued my words with your own bias into something I never said. Ppl bitch not my 2 day old account but then say I’ve been on here long enough to ‘cheerlead the wealthy.’ Can’t be both.

I often wonder how it goes behind closed doors. Is Zelenskyy all polite or is he more like you’re full of shit and you fucking know it?
